My take based on the negative reviews of this pad: I don’t understand how people say such negative things about this pad, it isn’t bad at all. I’ve been heavily using it for months and never came across the negative sides people say this pad has. Dpad works flawlessly and if I ever dropped combos it’s beacause of my own fault. Yes, the dpad at first feels stiff but like any other controller, it loosens a bit with time and use. At the end of the day, I think people aren’t criticizing because it’s a bad product, but because it doesn’t suit their playstyle. It’s personal preferences, not a bad product.
Ok so, which one would you think is better, this one or the victrix controller or the nacon pro? I have the hori octa and I dont know... I love the clicky buttons but when playing online I end up pushing buttons I don't want
pre ordered it and returned it immediately cause the dpad is so bad i bought a xbox series x controller and im loving it rn cause the dpad is actually clicky and responsive
This pad has more negative reviews than anything. But I bought it to give it a try and see for myself. I got a refund within a week. As the reviews say, the dpad is terrible. It has faulty diagonal inputs that will make you drop combos consistently even if you alter the settings. I definitely do not recommend purchasing this and that's a shame because this is the first amazing looking fightpad I've seen. But sadly, looks is all it has going for it. You're better off playing on a normal controller
Another thing is that the micro switch buttons sounds nice on paper but if you accidentally rub them you will get an input which means your hand placement can really make your combos drop as well, i went to unit do fight stick because this controller was so bad
Was about to buy the scuf instinct (i‘m playing Tekken 8) but after this video i‘m not sure. What do you think is better for Tekken8? Scuf instinct, or hori fighting commander?
Honestly......I am going to have to say no. I am going to do one more video this weekend that might be able to explain what is best for you and at a cheaper price.
FACTS. I def agree with you on that. I am just doing the cheaper controller because every time I do a video on something expensive the question is always is there a cheap one lol
Well, got two for me, to have one as spare. Used the Fighting Commander 4 for 10 years, only had to replace it because PS5 only accepted it for PS4 and Legacy Games, but not PS5 games. And that was the reason why I got this OCTA version. Well, this is the WORST controller I had in my life. I saw Amazon reviews and didn't care about them, my mistake, I've should have took those in consideration. In the end, returned both because of the same issue: D-PAD is terrible, miss inputs! Simple as that. For those looking for options, Betop Fightpad C3 is cheaper and IS 10 TIMES BETTER to say at least. Don't buy this one, you gonna regret, like I did.
Too bad it doesn't work for PlayStation, with the addition of that right short analog stick I would probably use this as my main controller for anything that's not a shooter.
@@MDSoulTV its not bad, way lighter than a dual sense, bought it for like 79$ canadian which is a little steep for the quality of it. Kinda wish that it was a little bit cheaper but im happy with it. When i used to play Tekken 7 on the ps4, i bought a entry level cheap arcade stick (where i had to connect my dual shock 4 to it via a usb connection) to see if ill like using an arcade stick since ive always used a controller. Good thing i didnt buy an expensive one since i barely use it. With this Hori controller, it feels more familiar. Just wish its a better quality for the price but its a decent controller. If anyone is interested on it, wait for it to go on sale. 25-50% discount would make this controller definitely worth it
@@MDSoulTVupdate here: got it on amazon, i thought i was using the controller wrong or something. since whenever i use the back button on the dpad i had to press twice as hard compared to the other directional button. There are even times when i thought i press back to guard but then my opponent would still land a hit. Decided to use the PC app to see whats up. Turns out the controller i got was defective. There are times when i would input block and it would not even read even if im pressing super hard on it (actually went down a ranks due to it. iflame ruler to mighty ruler and close to being tenryu again) contacted amazon and said they would send me a replacement without extra charge and without sending back the 1st controller. Which is great coz i smashed the first one when i got demoted. Got the replacement yesterday and it works great. I now dont need to press super hard on any of the buttons. Still getting used to the 6 buttons though. Are times i would press O thinking it was X or press R2 thinking its O and accidentally engage my heat.

It has so many bad reviews because people love to complain I am enjoying it.

How does this look in-game, like with the button binds. Does it give you extra options, seems to me they just moved everything around
Thats exactly what they did. They just moved everything around. You can change that in app that you can download.
The pause "I was still wrong" i was deceased 😂😂💀

Yo, that is a very versatile controller, especially having multiple custom profiles , looks light , comfortable for the hands , W vid indeed 💯
