a great exercise in maturity is finding or writing your own time-travelers field guide just in case and carry that with you at all times. Include psychological norms and regulations for each era (useful for both genders, but sometimes more useful to one gender to avoid being burned on a stake or being tied up and lowered into water) as ancient people were on rare occasions scared of ideas, also bring some technologies that would be easy to create and seem like magic to its time and also simple to advanced knowledge about poisonous and medicinal plants and how to identify them without pictures, knowledge about how to navigate without technology + how to make soap and toilet paper.

@@asher879 it took columbus 36 days to cross the atlantic and 6 months to sail to India from Portugal. Depending how long you stay in the past can affect it, also if you make a bunch of 1 day trips and return to the momemt you left each time you would definitely accumulate age from all the time spent not in the present and the easiest way to track that is to just account for it every time you time travel. (And its clear he's the type to abuse the timetravel device and spend a cumulatively long time period in different ages, ie Zack has made multiple videos involving the timetravel device) Its not that its only 1 day today, its that if he makes 1 trip for 1 day every day of the year he will age twice as fast. Always love it when the most average moderately humorous data analyst on RUclips posts another mediocre-at-best sketch.
Just kidding. Love your work!
@Hapita Yolat i did not hit her, i did not hit her, i did not! Oh hi mark!
What the fuck was that for? Whats the punchline? Its just rude
Idk why, but when I thought the title said 1942 and I saw a beach, I was worried that the people from the past wanted him to solve Pearl Harbor. Very glad that didn't happen
Im a chemist and i frk love this guy his skits remind me of the early days of youtube in a good way
*steps in water above ankle height*
"Guess it's waterproof both ways..."
If it was actually supposed to be Zach would already modernize everything to the 30th century.
a great exercise in maturity is finding or writing your own time-travelers field guide just in case and carry that with you at all times.
This might be the only channel where I don’t skip promotions 🤣
You must not watch Daniel thrasher 😂
He literally invented time travel, how can he NOT be helpful. He must keep physics in his back pocket.
“Water is wet”
“These shoes aren’t”😂😂
I feel like asking a guy from 1492 if future shoes are comfy is a bit of a loaded question
"I... Knowwww" is one of my favorite lines out of all of Zach's skits.
honestly just the telling them not to enslave the natives would be helpful enough. That is as long as they trust the word of a time traveler that much.
It's like when people say "don't eat sugar, it's bad for your health".
I like how chris columbus has kept the book they had for notes in ancient Egypt...
"You see water is wet"
Me: *Mind blown* "Wow man. That is a life changing discovery right there. I thought water was dry." *Gasps* "My whole life has been a lie"
"why?"
"Twitter"
"Is that some kinda future police...?"
"Kinda.."
That was very true words
That’s a great tagline legit “it’s not voodoo, it’s Vessi”
Jokes on all of you, I've thought of this and I have no less than 5 ebooks downloaded on my phone who's singular purpose is to rebuild civilization from the ground up. Principia Mathematica, How to Invent Everything, NAND to Tetris, a couple of other computing books, and How to Rebuild Civilization in the Aftermath of a Cataclysm. I think I'm covered here, except for a document on the USB standard (if I ever want to charge my phone again), a document on the metric standard (so I can measure the volts, since that's required for the previous step), a book on plant and mineral identification (if that sort of thing doesn't already exist in the disaster rebuilding books), the AVX512 standard, the C standard, and perhaps a book on linear algebra because that's useful for quantum computing. But those are details, honestly; I've got my ass covered on general data, I think.
“You don’t seem to know anything what do you do? “ social media and stuff”
"Yeah yeah yeah and you're a Sagittarius I f***ing get it"
I never hear Zodiac Sign jokes so this got me with the surprise lol
I’m just impressed with Zach’s Spanish fluency
NO JOKE: This video really could be trailer for a private project of mine: Im just annoyed by Isekai-Protags and Time-Travelers being baaad so i write lots of useful knowledge down: I already covered and excuse me if i dont do the work

That ad is brilliant.
could you make us a engine? car enthusiasts: yes
What about the gasoline?
Car enthusiasts: uhhh, no?
What about the electricity
Car enthusiasts: no....
And how would we find those materials and make them without the utilization of those "machines" ?
Car enthusiasts: ....
Everyone is stupid without the internet.
By giving them an answer you KNOW is wrong you could actually delay the transatlantic triangular slave trade by a few decades and give a few people a slightly longer life with their families before they die on a ship. Try that one!
Or you could point them in the right direction, since going west has you run into a huge landmass anyway, making the trip worse than the slowcut around africa one.
@@feha92 Was only referring to Columbus. My history expertise barely exceeds that of a boy with a kid-friendly picture book. But for shits and giggles, one could point him straight north, tell him to sail past Iceland and say: „If it gets colder everyday that‘s a GOOD sign. That means you‘re very close to European paradise.“
@@fritzvoncranach6268 Greenland is the cold one, Iceland is the warm one
@@randominternetguy3537 ....which is why wrote that. Imagine ol‘ Chrissy landing in Greenland thinking it was new ground for Europeans and just seeing a tundra. But I‘d want him to leave Iceland alone, so I‘d tell him to sail past.
@@randominternetguy3537 Around Iceland "warm" and "cold" become relative terms
Google maps would still have a pickture of the world without internet
Not to mention the cashed data that could provide some very helpful local area maps of whatever he last looked at.
I love that he makes the Ad reads an actual part of the skit
You can start a war with that "water is wet" part.
This video is proof that water is wet.
If I had to bring one item to the past it would be a copy of every page on Wikipedia and I'd sell it. Who needs effort to be useful in the past?
Plot twist: You saved a PDF copy of every Wikipedia page to a USB drive and are STILL completely useless.
i know someone who built a doomsday computer that has the entirety of Wikipedia downloaded onto it as well as a few maps of North America i dont remember how he intended to power it though its all you would ever need
Technically taking a selfie is scanning yourself.
...also I like how they point out how the phone is a lot less useful without cell towers.
why would he need a day off from school if he's time traveling?
Best guess is to not visibly age, or the device automatically shifts the return time to match the time spent in the past. (Very common in time travel stories to have both points move forward together for plot reasons)
@@jasonreed7522 "not visibly age" it's literally one day. If anyone notices then that is far beyond the line of insanity
(And its clear he's the type to abuse the timetravel device and spend a cumulatively long time period in different ages, ie Zack has made multiple videos involving the timetravel device)
Its not that its only 1 day today, its that if he makes 1 trip for 1 day every day of the year he will age twice as fast. (Something someone with a keen eye could notice on a teenage since they are still growing and not aging as adults; age is known since he is in school but it could mean college)
Ever hear of general theory of relativity?
"Iphone, 13"
"is that different from the Iphone 12?"
"no"
future tech is so cool Zach can be on moon without a space suit
That's mind baffling
I would invent the wardrobe. Apparently that came much later then people think. I feel thats something I'd be capable of. I could also draw a rough map of the world.
This is the best sequel I never knew I wanted so much
"idk that wasnt on the final"
is the best line
what would really happen:
Zach: Hello people! You guys!
Person (in spanish): ¿Quién es este chico?
Zach: Hey, do you know where the nearest 5G tower is?
Person (still in spanish): ¡Una persona inglesa! ¡Mátenlo chicos!
spanish gun: bang bang bang!
The thing is, there was only one thing needed to be said. “West.”
Bro how smooth that sponsor segment was implemented 😂😂😂
Promo so good I didn't want to skip
vessi shoes were waterproof for me, for about 7 hours. After work, my feet and socks were completely "socky"
Zach and Ryan need to do a video where themselves all meet each other
Just like in the previous video parody where he's in Egypt, there's a hidden joke here:
A white man, wearing modern clothing, speaking English, can talk to the locals perfectly and nobody is freaking out and just excepts that he's time travelled.😂
