Congratulations on your first RV. If I was buying again, this is the unit I would have also bought. (I have had 2 class c's). It's good looking and I like the Ford 3.5 gas ECOboost in my F150 so it will be good for the RV. Follow the break-in period for the engine. SUGGESTION; Make a list for your departures and setups things to do so you don't miss anything. After a while you will get your routines down. SUGGESTION: Get the non slip drawer liners to keep things from moving in the drawers and to keep things from rattling. You can get the material AND CUT IT TO FIT at Dollar Tree or WalMart. It's very inexpensive unless you buy it from an RV store. SUGGESTION: Buy a water filter unless the unit came with one and a good surge protector. You got a learn to learn and will make mistakes, but us veterans will be here to help you if you have questions. Be careful with the tail swing when you leave gas station pumps and watch for the rear end dragging over culverts. And always remember to LOOK UP when you come into areas with low hanging branches. Use a spotter when you need it. Enjoy RVing.
I second the drawer liners! And get travel size toothbrushes/hairbrush and such, you can leave it in your rv for future trips and it will save you on packing
One thing we found was you won't need all those dishes, pots and pans. We have 3 of each type dish, and cut back on silverware too. You'll wash dishes after each meal just because of space. Enjoy the new coach!
I've only seen two of your videos (this one and the next one where you head home) and you can tell how happy and excited your guys are about it. Glad to see! Enjoy.
Surfing through old stuff that l haven't seen, I'm bored tonight, anyway came across this one good for you that you didn't get sick traveling in the Van while pregnant and on the road. I would have.🥴
Can I offer a few pieces of advice? I have the same size RV. Fill your onboard water tank and skip connecting to a spigot. No worries about pressure and if you have a leak you will hear your water pump, but not the water hose. I know this from experience. Get a power protector. We have had it save us twice now. When it comes to those window shades, the ones that go into the windows are a pain! You will almost never use the captains seats, so put up a curtain rod and just get some thick curtains instead. Makes blocking off the front easy. One other reason to not hook up anything but electricity is because that is small enough to not need to tow a car, it will make is easy to unhook from power to run into town for lunch, dinner, site seeing, etc. Also, get leveling blocks (get the ones made for dualies and also from singles) but don't level unless you have to. I mean unless you really need to. Try to find level spots to avoid leveling if possible. I use an app on my phone called motorhomelevel, it works great. Also too much work and makes taking your rig someplace a pain. It is all about easy to setup and tear down. So the least work the best. Just my two cents.
You made an excellent choice. Only suggestion.. before spring. You might consider mesh screens for your furnace and refrigerator vents. Dirt dobbers are attracted to the propane. Found out the hard way myself. ;)
Great video. Thanks for the tour. Love love your RV. Spacious and and very attractive. Who wouldn't love to have one like this. Love your personalities.😊
The end of this video is what you need to rewatch and rewatch when you have a tire blowout or fridge malfunction or water heater won’t kick on. Just remember the feeling of it being awesome! Rvs are work but also can be a very rewarding and fun way to travel. congrats!
Love it !! We have a 2017 Gemini and have loved every minute of using it. One thing about your awning that is different then most others is it has automatic roll up when the wind is too heavy. Its a great feature. Yall enjoy.
If you should have warranty issues just keep in mind that when you take your unit in for service you may not get it back for weeks or even months depending on the issues. If you are mechanically handy you might want to address some issues on your own. I have been rving since the 60s and love every minute of it. Issues are souvenirs and memories that you will be talking about year after year around the campfire. Good luck and enjoy.
You can get non-skid drawer liners and cut to fit between the pots and pans to stop any rattling or rubbing together or scratching. Great for keeping glasses, coffee mugs and dishes from shifting around in the cabinets too.
Extremely happy for you guys! She's beautiful and we appreciate you allowing us to dream with you. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy...life is too short to waste every moment of your adventures! I'll keep watching and praying for your safety.
My grandfather owned a campground. In 50 years, we have gone from tents, to pop-ups, to canned ham, to Avion, and now have a 5vr. I am absolutely fascinated by this rig!! Congrats!!
Of you can use the liquid stuff you put down toilet for smell. The pods have thin plastic that can get cough in your black water (dirty) water washer and get caught on the Guage that checks fullness of black and grey tanks.
They all rattle until you get them loaded, then you figure out the rattles😊. Overheads work great for light weight foods and supplies, but can goods really should be lower to help prevent it from being to be top heavy, and weight on overheads could pull them loose, especially when you travel over dirt roads which can be washboards.
BIG Congrats On Your New RV! She's Beautiful! Great Choice! I Love The RV Life! Looking To Get One In About A Year And A Half! Happy RV-ing To You Both!💖😉🥂
Omg i haven't seen a Brookshires in years!!!! Memories . I used to live in Texas, i still have family there, and in Louisiana too. I was actually born in Louisiana
Me, too. My fam is near Dallas. I'm stuck in California. Kids won't move to Texas YET. It's coming though. As we fall completely apart. Brookshires, HEB, Braums. And Whataburger!
Loved the video guy's, so much practical info on how you set the RV up and your stuff up in the RV. Please keep us posted on how you RV runs, the good (and bad if any) Take care and stay safe. Happy travels.
It seems like the perfect RV for you and how fun it was to watch you organize your stuff. We're going to pull the trigger ourselves in the next couple of months -- maybe we'll see you on the road!
Consider a surge suppressor at the electric panel. It will save you one day. Always make sure you are level before slides. Put a block on your wheels. Have at least a half a tank of fresh water even if your are at an RV park with water. Gives you the ability to stop on a long trip in a Walmart parking lot. Get rubber patches to put in between your dishes. Safer and less noise. Reconsider your pots and pans. There are great pots and pans the nest, all use one handle, weigh less, take up less space, and cook great. Great ideal on the dishes.
You did a great job hooking everything up. Clearly you did your homework for the essential items to start with. The more you use it and talk with other campers you will learn what you still need and what you do not need to waste your money on. In the 20 yrs I have been camping my favorite thing is meeting new people and seeing them every year. You are going to have a great time exploring the U.S.
So happy for you two! I bought mine from that same dealer. They are terrific. Mine is a Thor Chateau 24 ft. I’ve had it four years now. She’s still my baby. I acted just like you two, I kept saying she’s mine!
Wow love your choice of RV's.! We had a class A years ago for about 10 years. Then we started world traveling and cruising on small and large ships.. So.... we sold the RV. We do not like to sit! 2 months ago we decided to buy a new (old 2008 lol) 29 ft class C Winnebago Access! I hear your excitement just as I was super excited about our find! My husband not so much as he calls the RV Debbie's money pit. Well we did buy all new tires, had to replace the carburetor on both the generator and the F450 engine. We also replaced the house battery's, aligned and put Helliwig anti Sway bars. We pulled out all the old carpet and replaced with vinyl plank flooring, and we painted all the cabinets. After several days of cleaning we could now call it our RV! Don't think my husbands name for the RV is fair as the 2 cruises we canceled paid for all of the above!! Good luck on your travels. We may see you on the road. Wow checked out your Amazon page and saw that you cruised! Like minds! We were in Alaska in 2019 doing a land / cruise combination . We rented a 25 Ft much like yours (yours is nicer!) and traveled with another couple who rented one as well for 10 days before we picked up the cruise ship in Seward!! What a trip!
We looked at doing this too but fell in love with this unit when we started looking at the new ones. Have fun out there and maybe we’ll run into each other.
Welcome to the camping community! My husband and I are big cruisers and I've followed your page since 2017. We bought our camper in July 2019. Now I look forward to seeing your new adventures!
You two are so cute together!! I can see the happiness & love :) And I remember that feeling of true excitement getting to use your new RV for the first time (ours was our Winnebago TT). I wish we had Whataburger's in WI! I can't wait to see your vlog from The Wilderness RV Camp! Happy Travels!!
Looks like a blast. I remember our first pop-up camper...it was so much fun to find "little" things that would work and save space...sewing little curtains....just making it "yours"!!
I'm so jealous that looked like so much fun. My husband and I would love to do the same but it will be a minute before we can purchase an RV. I'm also falling back in love with these small over since we would be first time RVer's as well.
Congrats.....you’re going to love it. My father bought a camper when I was 11 and RVing has been on like donkey Kong since. I’m 63, married 44 years. My husband and I bought our first RV 3 years after we were married, we are currently on our 5th Rv and still loving it!
Thank you for sharing the pick up and first night in the new Gemini. I just joined your channel because I am going to most likely purchase the Compass version of the Gemini. I am not currently an RV owner, so I am looking forward to following you on your road trips in the Gemini. Please let us know (or me), if you encounter problems with the rig so I can be ready to learn how to fix issues when they pop up. I have been researching RV's for the last two years, and will be purchasing very soon. Looks like you are having fun, so I can hardly wait to join you.
We have been rving for about 5 years. We've made lots of short in-state trips but hopefully this spring/summer will branch out to travel quite a bit more. I discovered your you tube channel when looking for cruise info two years ago as we were about to embark on our first cruise. You've been a great source of info and entertainment ever since. I'm glad to see that you guys will be out on the road and will share your adventures with us. Safe travels and have fun!
You two are so cute and excited over your wonderful new RV experience. I’m so tickled for you. I think you made a wonderful choice. And all your new stuff like the cookware dishes and coffee maker. Good luck 🍀👍 have fun in all your travels. Be patient with each other, remember it’s just a learning curve! Lol

The best part of their videos is how excited this couple is, and they enjoy each other's company so much, hooray for them.
I remember when we bought our RV ... 7 years later, I still get excited for every trip
I agree. They just tickle me. So cute
OMG they are like kid in candy shop and lots of positive vibes🤙

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions! We have a surge protector and water filter. I do need some shelf liners for sure.
@@bradd5368 agree with everything you said.

When your house moves, things rattle, lol. We enjoy when Whataburger is on the agenda 😋
You two are cute . I love how excited you both are like two kids on Christmas morning .
Surfing through old stuff that l haven't seen, I'm bored tonight, anyway came across this one good for you that you didn't get sick traveling in the Van while pregnant and on the road. I would have.🥴
I am so excited for you both and Jason, how lucky are you to have a wife who is so organised and practical.
You 2 remind me of 2 young kids waking up Christmas morning racing out to the tree to open up presents

Love the RV you’ve chosen. Big enough to enjoy living inside and small enough to enjoy driving to most parks.
Beddies bedding is perfect for the RV. Also, get a mat to go over your stove top. I found that our glass scratches really easy.
A mat ?
🎉 Congratulations!! Enjoy!
You made an excellent choice. Only suggestion.. before spring. You might consider mesh screens for your furnace and refrigerator vents. Dirt dobbers are attracted to the propane. Found out the hard way myself. ;)
What are dirt dobbers

Congratulations, I'm excited to see where we going.
You two have made me want to invest in such a purchase. I love your enthusiasm with this RV. Good choice.
Awesome RV. Thanks for taking us along on your first night with the new rig.
I can feel your excitement. Great looking RV. Can’t wait to see all the adventures. Congrats!

Whataburger first meal in the RV now that Savage
That's what I said.
Great video. I truly appreciate how you covered your introduction to your RV. Great purchase.
My grandfather owned a campground. In 50 years, we have gone from tents, to pop-ups, to canned ham, to Avion, and now have a 5vr. I am absolutely fascinated by this rig!! Congrats!!
Thanks! I (Alisa) grew up camping in every type of rig there is. Love it.
Can’t be stealth with this one but it’s GORGEOUS!!! And you are both adorable💕
There is a very nice exterior privacy curtain that fits over the windshield that attaches with magnets that seals tight and looks amazing.
Have lots of fun and make great memories.

You guys did good on the RV. Great choice. I couldnt drive those super car's too big for me.
I'm so jealous that looked like so much fun. My husband and I would love to do the same but it will be a minute before we can purchase an RV. I'm also falling back in love with these small over since we would be first time RVer's as well.
Make sure someone is always outside the RV, while the slide is going out. Can't wait to see all your new adventures.
I was waiting for a screeech! Always have a spotter when putting out slides.
It is so exciting and fun. We’ve had ours for a year and a half and we love it. Congrats and many happy travels.
Sooo excited for you two!!!!
Congrats.....you’re going to love it. My father bought a camper when I was 11 and RVing has been on like donkey Kong since. I’m 63, married 44 years. My husband and I bought our first RV 3 years after we were married, we are currently on our 5th Rv and still loving it!

We are very transparent on our channel so if something goes wrong it will be documented in a video.... but I really hope nothing goes wrong 😃
love it 😊 this couple is so awesome love watching your videos
I think you made an excellent choice with your RV! It’s a gorgeous unit and it is so spacious. Enjoy your new home away from home!
Hi there from Scotland UK. Just found your vlogs, beautiful motorhome. So jealous, have a great time
Good choice. You will have a blast.
Forget the rattling..lets get to Whataburger..I hear you..Im hungry too. Congrats on new rig. Happy trails!
We have been rving for about 5 years. We've made lots of short in-state trips but hopefully this spring/summer will branch out to travel quite a bit more. Good Stuff, love the video and the sheer enthusiasm of you both...Look forward to seeing more videos!
Thank you very much! 😊
