There was a weird clause in the contract he signed that said that after winning the album in the auction he wouldn't be allowed to release it to the public until like 100 years after the auction ended, though. He even kept playing some tracks on his RUclips livestreams and would get legal threats because of the contract he was in mid-stream. There's a compilation vid where people tried to stitch together some of the music he played during the streams, and it's about 30 mins worth of music which ain't much but at least we have it.

Rza didn’t even produce it. It was an outside producer who had each member record under the assumption it would be for various different projects. Then he put it together and brought it to the Rza to sell

Martin Shkreli did want to release the album. There was a weird clause in the contract he signed that said that after winning the album in the auction he wouldn't be allowed to release it to the public until like 100 years after the auction ended, though.
He even kept playing some tracks on his RUclips livestreams and would get legal threats because of the contract he was in mid-stream. There's a compilation vid where people tried to stitch together some of the music he played during the streams, and it's about 30 mins worth of music which ain't much but at least we have it.
Dude had an interesting point about the album being more expensive not being heard.

By jacking up the price so much, he was able to profit it and give the medication out for free, u just have to request it from them and they will give it to you no questions asked. Insurance companies have no other choice but to pay full price. So no one got screwed, only the insurance companies. They’re by far one of the biggest scams.
