I'm not sure if what he said is true, but if we take him at his word, patients with no insurance can have access to the medication for free or very cheap. He's making money from insurance companies who on their own have very shady business practices, and have little room to criticize anyone. Also, he's probably right about how the media jumped all over him for what he did, his drug isn't the only one charging crazy prices.

+Rus Royce I got a soft spot for 8 Diagrams (no pun intended). That album came out when I was in 8th grade, the same year Graduation came out. At the time, the only album i was listening to more than Graduation was 8 Diagrams... but of course, one has aged better than the other...
***** 36 Chambers is rightfully their masterpiece, but it kind of sucks that Wu-Tang Forever will always be overshadowed by the greatness of their debut. The W and Iron Flag aren't so bad either, but they haven't aged as well because there's no originality in their concepts. (luckily that amazing "Enter the Magical Mystery Chamber" mashup album gave a lot of those songs a newfound life which they rightfully deserved)
The biggest problem with their recent stuff is that for the most part it's exactly the same thing they've been doing for the last twenty years... they're all on auto-pilot and have slowly gotten lazier / older in general.
Nobody knows what year GZA's album will drop, and frankly, no one seems to care. The new DOOMSTARKS might finally arrive this year, but no matter what, it will suck to think how much better it could have been had it been released circa 2007 when it was first announced. I will unconditionally love Wu-Tang, and I'm glad most are still around and still making music (insert obligatory "R.I.P. ODB"), but damn, their golden age was twenty years ago... twenty fucking years ago...

@@frankovich213 We use them because we need to, simple as that. If this world wasn't so nuts we wouldn't need insurance.They are a necessary evil. Big corporations try to make the most $ off people but they don't like turn around as fair play. That's what happened here. Martin just looks like a villain and he did not do a very good job of defending himself (besides the other stuff he did, of course).

I was on Martin's channel discussing the situation about my uncle who died of toxoplasmosis. Martin reached out to me and asked that I call him regarding the situation, since I was a bit peeved that my uncle (who passed last year) didn't get the proper care by the hospital for his condition. In all honesty, it was the hospital that was responsible for my uncle's death, not Turing, since prescription drugs are supposed to be offered to hospitals enrolled in the 340b program for less than 2 cents.
Anyhow, I did get an opportunity to speak with Martin and he seemed like a real person; he wasn't arrogant and didn't berate me during the conversation. I must say that I initially had some trepidation about speaking w/ him because I saw some of his interactions w/ people via his videos, and let's just say that I wasn't looking for drama and I certainly wasn't interested in arguing with him. He came across as compassionate and nice.
I do not know him personally, but again, based on my conversation with him, I think he is genuine and simply gets a bad rap because he may have crossed the wrong people in the media, who don't like him.
