- Two years ago we purchased a remote off grid cabin on 80 acres in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan sight unseen.
We realized it wasn’t what we wanted and found our dream homestead on 40 acres just down the road!

when i started watching your channel i was amazed by you and your families tenacity in the face of what appeared to be overwhelming odds. it seemed you guys never got a break and probably like many if not most of your subs i worried about you all. so this vid put a smile ear to ear and absolutely made my day, i couldn't be more happy for folks i've never met and don't even know : )

Stumbled across your channel and this was the first video I saw. Don't know anything about you and when you took us on a tour of the cabin, I just shook my head and said he can't be serious. I smiled at the end when I saw the house. All you need now is a river to go fishing. I assume there is fishing since there was fishing rods in the pole barn. What a great piece of property! I will follow to see where this channel takes us.
Chad! This is so awesome! You put so much on yourself with the other property and I could tell that you were trying to make the best out of a bad situation. You weren't hiding your emotions very well or should I say you weren't fooling nobody! My husband and I are from Michigan. Grew up in the country below the thumb, very bottom near Ohio. We moved cuz it’s way too cold there. I guess we were called Trolls cuz we lived Under the bridge, LOL

I had never known there to be a Hebrew beard besides that crazy lookin one with the curls down past the ears. 😆 We actually grew up in lower Michigan as well. Fremont in the Midwest.

Yes all were worried that you’d got stuck for good in that off grid place, it’s beautiful out there but hey we’ve got the power on after 12 years off grid, it’s sad but you’ve got to look after yourselves. Hello! Be careful up there...some of these folks linked to Egypt tend to come back even if the properties sell, because a lot of them were squatting and they were not healthy (flying saucers and what not, and many of them were ILL! NO untreated, raw water, and get blood tested). They were seeing some strange stuff up in your neck of the woods BEFORE the fires last year. Berkey distillers are a lifesaver in that kind of situation. That LOOKS like MY missing red jacket on the wall. Someone broke into my apartment here in NJ and stole it. This is an awesome property. You will really be happy with it. Look at all the potential. You need to prune apple trees while they're dormant. Once they leaf out, you need to wait until next year if you want much fruit. Or, depending upon how neglected they are, prune them back hard and don't expect much fruit this year.
