    Thank you for using different basses in your vid, it really gives an understanding of the audio capabilities of this program! I wish everyone would do this!

    Getting back into bass again. Glad I came across this as I was thinking the parallax would be perfect for a small apartment set up. I just wasn't sure what kind of bass I wanted to go with since it's been almost 20 years since i had one. But i can say the P bass pups are still my favorite, though that dingwall does sound great as well.

    I think it's crazy when I plug in my p bass on a preset then plug in a different bass with two pickups how vastly different the tone is between the two basses

      @@dangermoose666 they also have a p pickup instead of the jazz for the neck as another option if that's more your thing. The cool thing about the neck pickups for the series are the big pickup poles that give you more high end clank. The only other well known brands that do this are music man and Sandberg

    Pedals I get, but what is the average guy going to do with this? Is it just for the studio or home recording with a computer?

    • @patrickhunter
      @patrickhunter  5 лет назад +2

      You can practice with it, record or even play live! My friend Matthew Denis (@matthewthebassplayer on insta, def give him a follow) is using this plugin for his main live tone every night on tour

    I want the bass to be the lead sound (kind of like Royal Blood but nastier) could this plugin do the trick or any other suggestions?

      @patrickhunter  5 лет назад +2

      I defintely bet it could! You can download the 14day trial for free on their website and I would experiment with it and an octave pedal!

      You can't get sparkling cleans, but you can get a very thick and gritty clean/light overdrive tone. For good clean tone plugins I'd suggest the Neural DSP Darkglass Ultra plugins!

    It’s sad when you spend 9 hours over 3 days to chase a tone, only to remember that you have a plug-in designed with that Karnivool “Goliath” distortion in mind and with collaboration of the bassist.
