- I saw a video recently by the RareCraftsman youtube channel where he built a birdhouse. I've been looking for something to do with the crazy amount of scrap I have laying around. This is a log cabin style bird house. It was a lot of fun to make. This reminded me of Lincoln Logs! Please like and subscribe.

RareCraftsman keeps burning everything 😂😅 Great project man. It’s great to get kids involved in something like that and you can probably easily sell it as well.
I like the birdhouse, my 7 year old granddaughter loves to build i think this would be one she will love. For the air compressor i would build a little shed outside for it, get a remote plugin to operate it, with a designated hanging spot for the remote 😅 (thats how i stopped misplacing my remote for mine) keep up the fun vibes ✌️

I've been thinking about housing the compressor in the other part of the shop and just running the hose through the wall, but I would also need an access panel, or a way to get at it the way that it is. I have a shop update coming in the not too distant future where I'm gonna address this and several other things. Thanks for watching, and I hope the project goes well for you!
Burning that looks great….Family fun day in the shop very nice. As for the compressor longer hose and foam lined box/cabinet maybe
I've considered just housing it in the next room and running the hose through the wall, but not sure if i'd want to go back and forth to turn it on and to turn the knob to get air to the tool. But it is loud and annoying.
@@FallingSunAcres they sell nibs that have a shutoff valve you can put right at the tool. But I hate walking all over the place also
I recommend this air compressor (FORTRESS 10 Gallon, 175 PSI Ultra-Quiet Horizontal Shop/Auto Air Compressor) we have it for a portable air compressor and it is super quiet
I might end up getting that Gavin. My pancake compressor is not only loud, but doesn't have enough capacity for some of the things I want to do. Thanks for the suggestion!
Before you put the roof on, you coulda fit a 6 pack in there. I love the log cabin look! Was this in response to the @rarecraftman nesting house?
This was definitely in response to the @rarecraftsman build. I thought the same thing about the six pack when I picked it up. I have a drawing for a plan like that somewhere that has never gotten built. Maybe I need to make that!
@@FallingSunAcres it also looked like an old-time carpenter tool box, just smaller.

No clean out? Never put a perch on a birdhouse because it allows predators to land and eat the eggs or babies.
