I like to make things! Some of these things will be useful, some playful, and some might seem unnecessary(they might be). This channel will run the gambit from building furniture to raising farm animals. Come along on the journey!
County Fair Display Table
I was asked to make some display tables for an Ag Learning Center for the 2024 Franklin County Fair. These were a quick turnaround and can be resized for a lot of different activities. They are also extremely sturdy. Like and Subscribe for more content.

Touching base Nick I deleted the whats app need space on phone and it wasn’t being used hope all is well ✌️😎
I hear ya. I needed a break from the tube. I'll probably get back at it come the winter. Looks like your channel is blowing up!
@@FallingSunAcres it’s growing no doubt. Vertical Live streaming is a huge tool in the tool kit for growth. You should look into it🫡
I bought a boat load of those reclaimed red oak shelves at $2 each. I’d have to say those legs would be sturdy enough. Spray finish is so much faster. Nice work Nick!!!
Thanks Joe! 2$ is a good deal for that material.
@@FallingSunAcres yea a school corporation got rid of all their library’s shelving and paid this guy a ton of money to clear them out and he practically gave them away
Nice simple build. Great work man 👍
Thanks Ethan!
Nice little shop org tip right there …Robin Hood
Legit good tip, never thought of that
Thanks Joe! What are you working on these days?
I like the birdhouse, my 7 year old granddaughter loves to build i think this would be one she will love. For the air compressor i would build a little shed outside for it, get a remote plugin to operate it, with a designated hanging spot for the remote 😅 (thats how i stopped misplacing my remote for mine) keep up the fun vibes ✌️
Thanks Andy. I've been thinking about housing the compressor in the other part of the shop and just running the hose through the wall, but I would also need an access panel, or a way to get at it the way that it is. I have a shop update coming in the not too distant future where I'm gonna address this and several other things. Thanks for watching, and I hope the project goes well for you!
Yep
Well my visualization was lacking until just before the two ends were in place 😅
It was my fourth take. Gad ti remember how it went together!
This is really nice man! Is that your project?
I'm making something for the county fair. This is one of the two puzzles.
Talkin Turkey and Tools
That's a pair of good topics in my book!
Awesome gift for your Bro!
Thanks Michael. He liked it!
and don't forget that wonderful smell.
They weren't bad, they had been sitting in borax for a week to draw out the moisture.
I mean did you think they did?
Never know till you try!
Those look like if you dried them out that they would be good dog bones but I bet they break apart like chicken bones
California air compressor
I'll look into that one!
Pretty cool build👌Great work
Thanks Ethan! Not something I do everyday, but I like the challenge of new projects.
This is not something which is popular in Europe but nevertheless really cool project!
Does Europe hate turkeys Les???
@@FallingSunAcres haha not really but hunting isn’t really popular here 😒
Nice work great video I had to share this with my in laws I know they will love it!!
Thanks for sharing Joe! I thought it was funny that you and I were talking about this with your turkey call video while I was just getting started on this project.
@@FallingSunAcres I never thought about the difference between the looks of the bird due to regions before but it’s is definitely a thing google the images
Oh man I would love to have some of that barn wood 🤔. As always great work and a great video! Well done!
Thanks Les. We have an abundance of barn wood in the midwest as unfortunately we are losing smaller farm families and the houses and barns are getting torn down to make room for more fields.
Love the look & colours. Great build man.
Thanks Ethan! It was a fun build and cool to make more than one thing for a location.
The satisfaction that comes with the scarce flawless project is the best feeling. Nice project!!
They're like a unicorn!
Haha!
Upcycling madness!! nice!
Nothing really dies at the acreage until it ends up in the burn barrel. Even then it sometimes gets pulled out!
I really thought you were going to have them study the map of the world and make a game out of it. I got so excited until you flipped it around 😂😂
I'm using it as a white board instead. If you don't staple it to the wall, it could multitask!
We’re getting some serious winds here in the UK as well. Every single time it happens I’m watching if anything will fly away from my DIY workshop 😅. Great little project man!
I feel like Iowa is the wind capital of the United States. Lots of little projects will eventually add up to major change right?!?
When life gives you lemons make lemonade. Great repurposing how to project video Awesome
Your greenhouse video made me think of it!
Just another day at the shop. Great build man👌
Thanks Ethan. The Shop was in need of some natural lighting!
Genius
Kinda crooked huh
Brilliant I've got one to fix on my shed ,thanks for that 😁
That's what I'm here for!
lol that’s how I put my house numbers on
I'm not the only one who saw it then!
Wow mind blown
Nice video
Thank You
You’re becoming the Billy Mays of DIY Hacks. 🫡
That guy had a good run. Bad ending. Great beard though.
I love it! Sustainability is key!
I agree 100%. The only new materials were the two 2x4's I used for framing.
Leave it in the package and nail it in place. Bubble gum and toothpaste it if necessary 😅
I think you might be on to something here...🤣😂🤣
Using a tape measure, new hack, WoW zero day
The hack is more about lining up the second piece. Now turn that zero day into a hero day! Happy Monday.
Just draw a level pencil line and run the top/bottom of your latch on that - reduces the risk of putting your latch on an angle
I like to live on the edge!
Great build man. always love the rustic look 🤟
Thanks Ethan. What are you working on these days?
@@FallingSunAcres I made a serving tray. Posted few days ago.
Laser level strapped to the old tripod
The hacks just keep coming!
I’m a 1%, great job little brother
Thanks Jeff! It's not easy being in the 1% club. It takes DEDICATION!
Another amazing project dude! Keep it up 💪
@@rarecraftsman Thanks Les!
Great tip.
Brilliant
Great hack, and you don't need another pair of hands.
Extra hands are usually in short supply!
Bruh!
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuup!
Pretty cool
Genius
Brilliant. Now I need to find something to lock up.
Wicked smart!
