  • I saw a video by ‪@wittworks‬ youtube channel showing some shop organization. I need this in my life! I decided to give an attempt at he speed square holder. This might be my new addiction. A neighbor once told me that a toolbox is where tools go to die. I need access to my tools. That's why I'm building a tool wall. The wall will come later. For now, I will settle for making ways of organizing and holding my tools. Please like and subscribe!

Awesome idea man. I’ll definitely steal this one from you 😉

Steal away. I need to organize my tools so this will likely become a regular feature. I hit a speed bump with my current project and had to pivot.

It's always nice to build something to display a tool properly. I need to do this a lot more myself as I find most of my tools I use on every project just lay on the bench where I work, but I have so much wall space to use.
Pretty smart idea with the table saw sled to cut the recess, I'll have to keep that one in the back of my head for the future.

I'm also trying the best I can to get the tools off the table and either on the wall or in a useful space where they are easy to grab!

It fits about perfect. I'm thinking of adding another piece so I can have the smaller size on it as well.

I'm working on a mallet currently inspired by your project. You made it look too easy!

🤣Where's the fun in that? That might be my next short! But you are definitely correct.

Takes up so much room, these silly peg board holders. Turn square on edge and you could fit 6 in that space? ( Yes, sticking out and put them not at center of bench so they poke you ). A slot and stop work great or just a nail

My shop is both a place of utility and a place of tranquility. I go there to solve problems and relax at the same time. In order to do that, it needs to not just perform, but also have a look and feel. I don't necessarily need surgical sterility or a space for every single thing, but the things I use the most are definitely going to have a place on the wall for easier access.
