Josh, you and your dad are amazing bros, and you actually inspired me to keep up my freshwater fish hobby! I had a recent (very stressful) move from Southeast Louisiana up to Fort Collins, CO. (Don’t get me wrong, it was an excellent idea to come here, I know several good freshwater fish pros, and they have an amazing assortment of fish.) I’m now into South American cichlids and I’ve got a nice collection of blue acaras, Severums, Angelfish, Bolivian Rams and a few “Cichlid-compatible” community fish up here in Colorado. I also upgraded from a 90 gallon to a 120 gallon tank…It was a heartbreaker to re-home my African Cichlids down there but I love the new setup here. (I just hope that, with the hurricane, that all of my little fish bros in Louisiana made it.) Anyway, thanks for your inspirational work at “Ohio Fish Rescue” and continued best wishes!

One of the first fish i looked up was an arrow i quickly found out they wouldn't fit in my first 20 gallon and if i had the room they were too violent for me, I was shocked by them eating, I do love to see them swim they are stunning. Those tigers are interesting looking forward to seeing them grow they will make the arrows look as gentle as the koi, I wouldn't want to put a hand in there.

Pea puffers need plenty of planted space and you don't want to keep more than a male and two females together, and you'll probably need to remove the second female if any pair off to mate. 40 G breeder minimum sized tank for a pair/trio.
I just lost my Goliath…. I was setting at my desk 20-25’ away from the tank and just happened to be looking at it and for some reason (none that I can figure out) it took off full tilt and swam into the glass full speed…. Only thing I can think maybe like skin flukes or some parasite made it spook like that because he was in a tank by himself and I was sitting down too far away not moving to have spooked it i think.
I feed my MBU with tongs.. no way my fingers are going near her mouth, my mbu’s name is Aura, she feeds very enthusiastic also. The other reason I tong feed is because the maintenance I do in the tank I don’t want my fish recognising my hands with feed time, so it’s always safe for me to put my hands in the tank. I have a shoal of Pea puffers living with my MBU, however they were all placed together as a community when very young and I know you can’t do that with your MBU as she has never been in that kind of environment and would probably eat any small fish you put in her tank... take care of yourselves

I was told it is illegal for pet stores to sale red eared slider turtles. I live in Pittsburgh is that true because I have been wanting to get one for a while.
So were these fish donated or bought because the fish you're showing are still going for top dollar in local pet stores just curious love your tanks too btw
Warning there is no other fish that can safely be tank mates with a Goliath Tiger. I have seen video clips were they rip the heads off Arowanas that are five times their size. If they are hungry and see a fish that's passive they will attack and make lunch out of it. They are like fresh water Barracudas
There are tips and tricks to it. Which I will share along the way I had great success keeping my other beast but this was before the 58k pond so I have him up. Stay tuned

What you feed the tigers. I see No food in the tank. And when you dont have food in the tank the tigers would 100 procent fight
We feed cutup shrimp. We do not feed live we did have to split them up though
