Absolutely love this. I was looking at the 2024s, but this is so much more refined and nice looking on interior, I'm going to wait for the 2025 and make do with our current ride.
Totally beautiful and the Tahoe, Yukon, and Denali's etc are the standard bearers that all the other brands like Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai etc. all try to match with their own full sized SUV's.
Finally a modern column shifter and not the awkward button setup. I thought it was bogus that they claim that column shifter takes up space but the button shifter does not.😂😂😂
Most people wont be able to afford it! I mean I make over 150k/year but after a 1200/month mortgage, insurance for my other vehicles, health insurance for the family, taxes, food, utilities, and ect, Do I want to add another 800+/month payment? This redesign will cause the mark up to go from 57k to about 65k for the base models!
It’s beautiful. I’m glad that they have a column shifter now. If only they would bring back the adjustable foot peddles, I still love it regardless and can’t wait to see the Yukon at4
GM is improving in this decade. Since the 80s their interiors have a poor reception from consumers. After seeing this latest model they're improving build quality and materials. The big change with this interior is there's way less hard touch plastics and more soft touches around the vehicle. GM did a very well job with this truck.
@atg1338 wdym? GM interiors have been garbage for 4 decades. Now in this decade they've started to improve build quality and materials. Only thing they haven't changed are the seats. Besides that they've done a good job with this truck.
@@SeanAlegator they all have been the same for decades. Chevy had better interiors in the 80s 90s and 2000s over dodge and ford. They all have to much plastics and are similar. You sound like a gm hating lil boy
A great review Joe, as usual. Glad Chevy is stepping it up with infotainment screens. The updated style looks very good. Finally, the inside is updated. Like the gear changes on the steering column. We are empty nesters and don’t need such a large vehicle. Do a lot of in town driving. These large boxes hard to park and maneuver in crowded traffic areas. My Santa Fe SUV so easy to maneuver and park. I am spoiled with its maneuverability. Yeah, it’s smaller but adequate for our needs. At gas prices at $5.00 per gallon, one must either be prudent or rich to drive these large vehicles especially around town. They are pros and cons, good job Chevy.
Family owned collision repair.. All vehicles seem to suffer from 'spare parts issues today.. apparently Only enough parts are manufactured to build each vehicle.. aftermarket or salvage are often the only options.. ;/
I feel like Chevy finally caught up on the infotainment. When the complete redesign came out I was like ok they did a lot on the infotainment but felt it wasn’t enough. Now they got it to where it needs to be.
Agreed, I have been close to pulling the trigger on an upgrade from our 2013 Suburban 2500 but couldn’t get past the pyramid protrusion navigation system which was forcing me to consider a Denali. With this redesign the Chevrolet and Yukon LT trims are back as an option for my family!
I’m glad they enhanced the interior since the price is in the $60K bracket for a base model. I’m also glad they increased the diesel’s power figures. The torque was great on the previous gen, but the horsepower was a little low for me.
I wish it had a panoramic view for when I’m not off reading an just cruising around the city or a scenic road or winding through the countryside or mountains with the family or the significant other. Everything else loooks aesthetically pleasing.
Thank you Chevrolet , for picking up your game, i wish the rear cargo area was lower so I don’t have to lift duffle bags as high, other than that i am impressed for the first time in a long time🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
GM does this kind of old fashioned vehicle extremely well. I would pick the Duramax diesel engine, because with all the knowledge from Banks and others about how to tune it and improve it, you could get hundreds of thousands of miles out of that engine. The big GM vehicles are great for big American lives. If i lived in Tahoe I would have one of these.
