Me too, notl33t. I totally agree. It is absolutely lovely. Plus, Figboot is great. I would miss him terribly if he were to drop out of the review game, like my other favorite Doug Rathbun has, and before him, Matt Armstrong, a.k.a. The Pen Habit. But the "folks" who will try their luck on July 31st to get their hands on one of these will not include me -- not at that price + shipping + the fact that I got seriously burned on a Leonardo Momento Zero that couldn't write even with a replacement nib.

I got mine a few days ago and just inked it up with Jacques Herbin Bleu Plenitude. It is stunning. This is my third Leonardo and by far the best. I’m looking forward to more offerings from you, David!

I own exactly one fountain pen, because I am *that* impulsive person who bought my grail pen straight out of the gate and never looked back. But I will be buying this one. The colors are beautiful, and I’m really impressed.
May I ask if you’ve considered doing an ink as well?

Perhaps 1111 would have been a better number considering how quickly they sold out 😂 Congratulations! They are gorgeous. My wallet is glad they sold out quickly but this is my grail pen so part of me wishes I had gotten one.

@sunnyoak Thanks. While these have been sold out for quite some time, there are still some of the Visconti Voyager Del Mar models available on my site which use a very similar resin. A but at a higher price point, though.

Great choice (of colors, of resin design, of manufacturer). I, too, really like Leonardo pens (and turquoise) as well as your channel! This would be an automatic for me but my 2d daughter is starting college and the "plumgna" color they just had comes close to her school colors so sadly, I must pass. I have NO doubt all 111 will fly off the shelves.
Congratulations on this gorgeous pen!! I will definitely have to order this pen. I love the material that this was based on too. Do you have a video on Leonardo’s gold nibs?? And do you think the pen needs a gold nib or are the steel nibs good enough? I’m leaning more towards getting a gold nib but aren’t sure if they’re both equal in quality and that the only benefit of the gold nibs is that they’re made of gold. Hope that makes sense lol.
I feel both the Leonardo gold and steel nibs are good quality...I think you'd be pleased with whichever choice you make.

Congratulations! This is a great looking pen. I have a pen made in the original Early Magic, and it is a gorgeous material--but mine is predominantly copper with some splashes and veins of of turquoise. I'm happy to see the percentage of turquoise increased here. I assume the gold nibs will be silver colored to match the trim?

The gold nib will be rhodium plated.

Q: If I succeed in purchasing one from your website, does it come with a Big Foot? I'm not sure my shorter stature and feet to match would fill Fig's boots. Maybe just a picture of good ol' Figgy hiding behind a tree in a nice forest would suffice. ;-) Actually, it would just be an honor and a pleasure to own such a pen.

I’ve seen this question asked by another poster, but I didn’t see an answer and just wanted to double check: will the 14k nib be the standard Leonardo yellow gold nib, or will it be white gold/rhodium to match the pen accents? :)

Dave went on your channel at exactly noon today to purchase this pen and when I was done adding steel fine the site told me that it was no longer available. How could that be? It is now 12:04.?
I bought a Leonardo Momento Zero Positano. It did didn't write. I got a second nib. It didn't write. Then the converter connection went bad. Sent the pen to a nibmeister who couldn't save it. It's dead and gone.

I've just always liked how the double-one looks on the back of a sports jersey. It would be the number I would always choose growing up and playing sports.
