I improved my take down techniques specially for Bjj ,by watching your videos. Thank you so much 🤙
very nice vidoes, much appreciated
Thank you! I used this kenken uchi-mata today successfully!🎉
Thank you
I actually applied uchi mata to my wrestling and bjj game, and one tip id say to do first is sprawl and bring the leg theyre attacking, then do like a modifided 2 step uchi mata with a whizzer grip
Thank you for remembering us bjj guys. Youre an awesome teacher.
Nice!
Just great.
I don’t know how practical it is but I’ve been hitting huge uchi mata’s no gi using the collar tie and the over-hook landing into side control. Such a fun and awesome feeling throw!
you're circling to the collar tie or the overhook tie when you throw?
@@anonoumos bump I wanna knowb
@@anonoumos I circle to the over-hook and try to land and swap the over hook into a seatbelt / kesa grip.
Thats why I say I don’t know how practical it is because I see lots of videos saying giving under-hooks is asking for trouble lol
@Pinnucle there is nothing wrong with doing uchi mata with a strong overhook, but it's hard for me to imagine having a collar tie rather than wrist control or inside post on the bicep with the other hand.
It probably isn't advisable to intentionally give away underhooks, but it happens sometimes and uchi mata can be a good option when it does.
Thx a lot sensei! Oss
I like how he speaks New York :-)
I also like the kind of vulgar uchi mata where you over hook to counter the underhook then plant your free hand on the mat and lift your overhook side leg for the uchi mata while hopping in a spiral.
Sets up flying triangle
@Mcsquiizzy definitely an opening there. The key to avoid the flying triangle is to not let your opponent get you in a flying triangle 😉
it IS hane goshi!😹😹
Interesting, yes when I want to apply Judo to standing bjj guys their whole body is stiff and they just resist like a stone, so we have to adapt the throws indeed.
Sir why leg grabbing throws banned
in the instructional uchi mata, there is a rvr uchi mata?
If there’s a ken ken, we now need a barbie barbie
كيفك انا من سوريا وا تبعك حبيب
Does the instructional cover no gi?
Does not appear to cover nogi at all the first uchi mata is grip heavy on the kimono and the second uchi mata requires grabbing the belt.
@@rational_observer ya I meant the one that you purchase I'll buy it if it covers no gi
You call it can can. My sensei called it Taco Bell 😂
lol why taco bell
No gi???

Hi man .👋
I think a good video idea would be the history of judo moves .
Full name explanation.
Who invented the move.
People who were famous for the move.
Why is Uchimata Judo's signature move? Please excuse me, I'm a novice.
its just one of the most popular throws that people do
