- It's been a long time coming! I finally dyed my microlocs! I've been wanting to do this for some time now, but always chickened out. Not anymore! I'm so glad I decided to take the leap! I wanted to go for a ginger but fell in love with this color instead! Let me know what you think about it!

I used to get my first set of locs colored. My loctician used to do a custom color that consisted of chocolate, honey blondes and caramel tones. I loved it but this time around, l'm still debating if l want to color this set because my texture is soft and curly and it will change the hair texture. I'm a little over 3 years. It turned out pretty Keke! She did a great job.

Love the colors on your brown skin Keke, you was speaking about other colors like blue/green i have those colors in my Microlcks, i stay with the to, just don't want bleach on my hair anymore, [ I cover up the Gray lol. ] and when i was loss natural, i dyed it a lot,
the bleaching started to give me headaches then I found the colors semi Permanent dying so I start using those and I do my own hair every 8 to 9 months. girl it brings out your skin tone as well, girl even with your black roots never seen that 1 before I need to do that with my blue green colors next time, and its about time 4me to re'color this boy of mines.

I'm 3 months in for microlocs (you were my inspiration for getting them!). Do you think you could have started deep conditioning sooner than 8 months or 8 months is a safe zone? And did you use any regular conditioner when you first got locs?

I have microlocs too and I would recommend that you wait before using deep conditioner because it can slow down the locking process
