- Hey ya'll! In this video, I'm showing you how I lightened up my green locs. There weren't super vibrant and I feel like you could barely see them sometimes. So, I wanted to brighten them up a bit. I love how it turned out and the fact that I can see them more now, I love it!

That green looks soo good! I started my locs on bleached hair. Then I went with a purple pink and turquoise mix for a while. I recently bleached the front middle patch cause I was missing the blonde! But we’ll see how long that lasts. Another great video!!

Love the green! Next time just bleach the newest area so you don't get any damage. If you keep bleaching the same areas, it's going to eventually be damaged.

I started my microlocs with red hair and I have kept up the color. So I do bleach 2x a year. I use 40 developer. My hair is used to it. Love the green on you!

Babe just a small tip next time you can just just crest a bleach cap whereas it’s just bleach that you mix regular and shampoo and you get a nice even lather. It’s much easier when doing a quick job. It’s also good to lift a color that you want gone out your hair. It comes in clutch for me since I’m always dying my hair.
This knowledge comes from me being in my mothers shop all my life lmaoooo😂😂😂

Keke, love love your locs!!! How do you keep your locs sooo healthy after dying it? Could you give some tips about that? Also do you feel that dying your locs sped up the locing process? I dyed my hair black and I feel like my hair changed, not in a bad way...but definitely in texture somewhat.
Thank you so much! My hair is definitely a little damaged in that area due to my looser curl pattern. I would recommend having a good regimen for after care. Always moisturize! I do so with water every single day if nothing else. Also deep conditioning helps me as well, I do so every wash.
I don’t think during my locs had an affect on the locking process.

Do you think sisterlocs are too small vs microlocs? I found a loctician ( hope i spelled that right ) lol… and she does sisterlocs on all her customers but i love both since they look the same but don’t want anything too tiny if it could cause them to thin my natural hair and fall out 🥹
Bleach is damaging to hair over time.
Try using the clip in loc’s that you made, dye them any color that you like and clip them in any place you like without damaging your natural hair.
