I didn't like this game.... and then I LOVED IT! I've spent 300+ hours already in pre-release. I've just restarted the game now it's official V1 release.

Bought this quite a while ago in early access, I've been loving it. The devs were pretty good about listening to the players during development too on things like requests to be able to customize heroes, my only gripe is how hard it is to get the stats you want on level up as it can interfere with the "power fantasy" you might have been going for on a hero, but all in all I think it's a good game and I'm happy you liked it.

I remember playing the demo at a next fest some years ago. I wasn't terribly impressed with it at the time, but good to know it turned out well. I actually had a thought to look into it again recently, but couldn't remember the name so this was very timely.

While this isn't for me personally (just don't have the brain for being tactical) but it's good to see that it's a really solid entry for strategic game fans. Hopefully the performance can be improved for the deck. While I'll be passing this up, I appreciate the review as always.

I may try to get this game on Steam. I love the Nintendo Switch, but sadly their hardware cannot contain alot of complex systems without crashing (FPS is not an issue for me). I already had to deal with some disappointments on the Switch that did well on other consoles like Hardcore Mecha and Star Renegades that had huge issues crashing whenever a tons of stuff happened on screen.
The soundtrack is done by my favorite electronic+metal artist...The Algorithm. Listen to 'Pointers' and 'Trojans' if your brave enough 😜
do you think this game would be good on Nintendo switch? I am worried about the controls.
From what I have heard it is not ideal and does not perform well on Switch.

As a factorio fan waiing for factorio 2.0, this is a very nice game to play, gameplay is not sadistic and frustrating like they are billions, the soundtrack rocks hard, for me its 9/10
It's interesting to look at but I feel it may be too much for too little. Like a lot of micromanaging for very little gameflow.

Not super optimistic considering changes needed to be made to get it to 50fps on Steam Deck

@@Biggie_Pauls Looking at other vids, it seems to be uncapped but I'm sure the framerate is gonna tank when a lot is happening on screen. The control scheme appears to be iffy though which IMO is worse.

Okay, nevermind.
I played the first hour and was incredibly bored. This game had potential, or perhaps I had expectations, and this game did not meet it. When it sells for $10 ill give it another try. The combat is what killed it for me. It was so fucking boring just moving your character and using the same skills over and over killing the same enemies. Making it turn based was shit.

Turn based is amazing. You just sold me on the game. Take your Ritalin kid...some of us have a healthy attention span
