Wish you had this video up years ago sticky when I was first starting out, I found a lot of fishoes were not helpful they didn’t want to tell you how to catch them as if it was some big secret. Thanks to you beginners have got a great start with your video, awesome start to finish video , can’t get any better mate , well done. 👍
I worked with a bloke who invited me to come out on Sydney Harbour with a bunch of the older lads, yeah they told me themselves ya gotta come watch em fish for 2 yrs before theyll talk to ya lol...its a tradition from the times of the great depression they say.if ua find weed keep it secret and ya can always get dinner tonight
Yeah its tradition from the times of the great depression to keep it secret it was the warvies who didnt get a start today would fish for brackfish right at the warf, they weren't going home empty-handed
Oh Ricky you fuggin legend, I was about to start doing this today but held off because I wasn't sure of the rigging procedure....BOOM - here it is! Also, what I did find when I started to research was people saying they cooked their Luderick & it turned out like a rubber thong! It's all here! Thanks heaps fella, your endless sharing of tips & ideas is such a big help when you don't have the experience. Thanks for spending all this time to help others.
@@stickyfishyfishing Love to support your channel. Your generous tips taught me how to consistently catch good drummer and a big thanks for that, Ricky! Got one among others of 52 cm and 22 cm wide last week.
Love your videos buddy! In California, USA they have a similar fish that is a vegetarian. They can also be caught on cabbage. One ingenious fisherman there found out they can be caught on green freezer peas. Maybe give it a try if you haven’t heard of it. He also throughs out handfuls of the same peas as burly. Thanks for sharing your tutorials.
Absolutely awesome video, I have learnt so much and thank you for the time you have invested in this presentation , I’m assuming your name is Ricky , great effort champ , please do more , cheers from Wagga Wagga
Nice vid mate. Very comprehensive. I learned some stuff about the rig and how to weigh the float. I usually just use one of those Japanese floats off the ocean rocks but I've never thought about how its weighted. Keen to give the same style of float you use a go using the correct weight and see if that gives me a better result.
Another cooking masterclass from the Stick. Not bad for a bloke who can't cook fish. If that cat turned up at mine, it wouldn't be coming home lol. Allright, I got me scissors and some green weed. I'm off to make and smoke some burley. cheers.
You can also repeat last processes n get a double crunch 🤤🤤🤤 Add vinegar to egg. You might even add lemon skin with the breadcrumbs. I find adding vinegar after, u lose the crunch... just like chips.. if it meant to be crunchy, gotta eat it crunchy lol
@@dustincanavan8097 i don't fish that jetty for bream not the best bream spot do catch them there but not in big numbers but will have bream videos coming soon at Nelson Bay break wall 👍
@user-ev9fj4tf7x can be caught all year round from the ocean rocks but in estuarys Bays or river winter time But overall i say winter time is best every where 👍
Its a shame more fishermen & women arent more environmentally conscious as you (and I). Where I live around Tweed Heads youll be lucky to find any water cabbage any more. Its a damn shame to be honest. Plus the amount of TWEED BAIT plastic bags every where left by folk fishing...I typed TWEED BAIT because I wrote them about changing to bio- degradable bags a few years back...they told me they were "working on it", but havent done a thing yet. Putting back fish is also commendable...ty for your vids
So far the best video for luderick and drummer 😊

Wouldn't be a bad idea to add (catch clean and cook) in the title
Yeah I got all info on thumb nail picture but good idea 👍
That breathing!
If you skin the fish leaving a little flesh on, the blood line stays on the skin.
Dam,now I'm hungry again.
Haha 👍
Show them the gold bull weed or also known as 🐎 hair🤪
Great video!
