    Top video Ricky. Was curious before how you salted your cooked prawns. Now I know. Had a top session 2 weeks ago - 14 drummer and one leather jacket (only kept 4 for the table as I love my fish). Some days are sweet and they're on. Had the first 5 in ten minutes of arriving. Keep the drummer vlogs coming!

    Looking good Ricky!
    I usually stopped using prawns.
    I use weed on a heavy blackfish rig. 16lb main, 8-10 lb leader
    If i am chasing big drummer or some groper, il use the same rig but with a 14lb leader. and crab on the end.
    There's Just too many pickers when im burleying so i just stick to the weed and crabs
    never really tried cunjevoi, i heard it works but i've gotten alot of pickers from it too.
    I don't like collecting it too sometimes. Conjevoi stink can be pretty mighty..

      kcheong00 yeah mate weed os good caught some drummer on it before fishing for luderick i like prawn where i live cause i get snapper on them when drummer fishing but cunjevoi good cause it's free bait 👍

    Tip when its time to change your line sometimes depending on the condition of your line on the other end you can simply turn your line around its a bit of mucking around but can save you a respool if using a expensive line i know its a bit of a hassle having to wind it onto anothet spool then another spool then back onto your real but to save a buck

    • @turtleman190
      @turtleman190 2 года назад +1

      Works great for braided fishing line that is what i do with mono though i dont i just respool the entire thing

    • @stickyfishyfishing

      Yeah you can with braid mate but mono better off with a new spool of line 👍

    • @stickyfishyfishing

    Hi mate,
    Good video, I went chasing my first drummer today with no luck. I kept getting snagged on the bottom. Is there any technique you use to keep the bait floating around in the wash more without sinking and getting snagged up. I weren’t sure if I was getting bites or being dragged on the bottom. I used a egg beater aswell.
    Thanks mate appreciate it

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  4 года назад

      Hi mate my try using a smaller sinker or a little float if it's real snaggy and a egg beater is fine to use my nephew users one and still gets fish I just perfer a alvey to fish with 👍

      All also ask the local tackle shop in the area your fishing they mite be able to point you in the right direction 👍

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад +2

      Hey you can use a net at anytime as long as you can reach the water with it and is safe too use it makes it easer to get the fish in but helps if you got someone to net the fish for you i use a net sometimes just depends on where iam fishing but when i rock fish i just use waves to wash the fish up to where i can safely grab it but i but if you fish some where you can use one and need to use it mate
      Use one 👍
