  • The Logitech Pro racing wheel is the first direct drive unit produced by the biggest manufacturer out there. It does come with an expensive price tag. I had issues understanding why it was this expensive, until I actually tested it.

    The quick release system looks very high quality.
    It's sad how logitech is ignoring it.

    The TrueForce is amazing. I've turned mine down to 20%, though.
    Sends vibration feedback through the frame of my aluminium profile rig. Just wow.

      Personal preference of course but yes, what a sensation it brings extra. I was planning to sell it again after the review and a versus video to fund some other purchase, but... I'm having second thoughts. :D

      I just got to experience it in forza motorsport's new update.
      After a 2 hour session at 100% my hands were tingling. The vibration shakes my whole playseat trophy chassis and it really surprised me at how different it was.
      The wheel was always great but trueforce really opened my eyes to what I was missing.
      It's loud but with headphones on its fine.

      @@joshuafallet5690 Hey, Joshua! Yeah, the TF is absolutely mindblowing. I used to feel it vibrate my whole (solid, aluminium profile) rig, as you described, before Polyphony Digital thought it wise to nerf this feature in GT7. Not completely, but nowhere near as good.
      Glad you like it.

    We have had ours since Nov. 2023, use it almost everyday and love it. I have no problem with the price, worth it for us. I know women that paid $1500.00 for a pair of shoes, and even more for a handbag.

    Just remember fanatec has fullforce coming 😉 when i turn off int on the dd+ its almost like this true force expereince. Many dont realixe fanatec ships these dd wheels at like 11 on the interpelation setting. When turning this off it alloes all of the vibrarions and sounds of the motor through. So alot of people getting thede dd wheels arent even tirning that off its made so when off you get the raw pure ffb effects. Its such a massive massive difference. I wish fanatec would go back to at least dropping it to 6 which used to be what they shipped with. So people that arent used to these wont realize they need to turn that off for that amszing experience. I feel it everywhere. So i cant imagine when fanatec gives the full force effect. Gonna be insane for sure.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  5 месяцев назад

      I know. Am looking forward to it. The feature itself is good, but the implementation needs to be good too. T-dfb for example has only 1 franchise where it is compatible.

    • @reviewforthetube6485
      @reviewforthetube6485 5 месяцев назад

      @SimulatedDrivingResource just remember to turn off the interpelation on the dd+ turn it to 0 so you get the raw ffb and the noise/vibration from the motor to pull all of the detail out. It's a massive massive difference. They put it to like 6 to 11 out of the box.

    My biggest issue is the wheel. Since it is the only wheel, it should be round. It is way too hard, even with gloves. Button layout is awkward. I also don't like how my hands fit in the 9/3 area. The wide spoke doesn't allow a firm grip of the wheel. The base FFB settings are overly simplified. Also, you are locked to Logitech ecosystem which is nothing but pedals at the moment.

    *IMPORTANT WARNING*: Logitech ( DO NOT ) carry spares or have service centres. I will probably have to throw my gpro wheel and pedals into the bin for the sake of a $2 part that they DONT sell. They DO NOT carry any form spares and even the smallest issue will result in the unit being bricked. Stick to an item with aftersale support and spares.

      @@DontForgetOldKolobok The biggest problem about trying to do a nice thing and warn other people about the huge mistake I made by getting logitech, when I originally could have spent a similar price and got something serviceable and also better ( like what I have now ) is that I get every disgruntled gpro owner that is trying to seek self-gratification on the rubbish purchase that they too have fallen victim of, when actually they should be very concerned themselves. @bratamic1 Thank You! I WAS seriously looking at this wheel.
      As an electronic tech, I like fixing things myself, but only if parts are available.
      A local tech could repair your board on the component level so long as it's not an IC chip.
