I feel like you and the Mighty Car Mod guys would get along great. Great presentation on your end - best Golf R B16 Damptronic video on youtube I could find. Also, just had my b16 damptronic kit delivered today for my 19R!
@@SparesboxAuto quick question - I just got the b16 damptronic kit installed today, but I don’t feel any difference at all between the different drive modes. Did you guys notice much difference between the different modes?
Have the Bilstein B16 damptronic coilovers installed in my 2017 Golf R. Did you guys use factory shock mounts and bumpstops with these coilovers. I ended up cutting two nubs of my bumpstops due to knocking when going over bumps at slow speeds in the front coilovers. I'm currently using aftermarket ECS Tuning HD shock mounts and are thinking of installing factory shock mounts. Some people say the coilovers already have bumpstops and not to use factory ones? Thanks for your help....
Does your Golf R with stock DCC build in? I heard of people saying GTI/R suspension mods should go for Bilstein B14 rather than B16 if your car without DCC?
Does the billstein coilovers work with dcc? I am very interested to buy billstein's for my golf 7R, building a trackcar for the Nurburgring and Spa, love from belgium!
Only the B16 does. Also the KW DDC coilovers work with DDC and have a more comfortable ride in comfort, and stiff in race. You should pair it with the super pro lower control arms for more camber and the super pro rear stiffer anti roll bar for better turn in.
@@kokekan75 Which KW model are you referring to in this context? was looking at B6 DCC shocks with some adjustable springs, but still looking at options. In current, I never use comfort mode as normal is not uncomfortable. Comfort bounces more which is not comfortable.

Haha I'm sure we would! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! You'll love the coilovers!

Video could turn down the music a tad more while talking. Still thumbs up though. I like hearing about this stuff.
We'll take this feedback onboard! :)

The Bilstein Damptronic coilovers are indeed compatible!

@@MattPayne1 What did you choose and how is it holding up?
Looks like the Golf R needs some weight reduction 😊
