‪@TRHamza‬ stopped by for a suspension upgrade on their MK7 GTI, he wanted improved handling without removing the electronic adjustability of the factory system with the option to reduce the arch gap to his taste with a coilover setup.
‪@TRHamza‬ opted for a BILSTEIN B16 DampTronic coilover kit which retains the electronic function of the factory suspension, allowing you to adjust the damping on the fly with more performance optimises damping, spring rates and the added benefit of being able to get the look just right with the adjustable ride height.
At the same time we also installed our RSS fast-road wheel alignment to improve the driving experience just that bit further!

I currently have the same Bilstein B16 damptronic coilovers on my 2017 Golf R stage 3. I am having issues with a knocking noise in the front at slow speeds and going over bumps? I am using new Moog endlinks and HD ECS strut mounts. Have you had this issue? Do you know how to fix it? Bilstein recommended running 034 spring isolators. What are you thoughts? Thanks for your help.

It's hard to diagnose remotely, a number of those parts we haven't used before. First port of call would be to check back through your installation procedure to see if anything was missed, then troubleshoot from there.

@@RegalAutosport I had my dealer check everything in the installation and everything is perfect. I also added spring isolators from 034 that Bilstein recommended. The car still makes clunking noise going over bumps at slow speeds. Have you ever had this issue with Bilstein B16 damptronic coilovers? My installer recommended changing the front shocks. He thinks they mite be defective. Have you ever had this issue?

I have a Mk7 S, it does have a customizable suspension option in the infotainment, however no connection to the struts. Will I be able to electronically adjust these with the mode selection or is there additional hardware required?

How do you mean by no connection to the struts?

@@RegalAutosport at exactly 5:17, you can see the connector for the strut. This (electric connector) connects to the strut right? Because they are electronically adjusted, right? Well, my GTI doesn't have that connector. The infotament has the settings, it shows suspension adjustment for the different driving modes, but since the struts are not connected, nothing happens. Because my GTI doesn't have those connectors shown at 5:17, unless I am missing something, my question is if these coilovers will still work? Maybe there is a hidden plug I can connect these electronically.

Hi Friend, I installed a racingline springs on a Golf mk7.5 1.4 tsi with oem struts 7 months ago. The streets in my country are bad (holes adn holes). I am thinking to reinstall the original springs again or the another option is install bilstein B8. I would like to know your opinion, Do you think the handling with racingline & B8 should be nice? Thank you.

Hey, thanks for watching and the message. Using lowering springs with OEM dampers is a way to achieve a lowered ride height but it will mean that your dampers are no longer operating within the range they were designed to, if you are having an issue then BILSTEIN B8 could be something to test and see how it differs.
