Excellent machines. I had an 03 and by 06 they were refined and even better power and suspension. Awesome bike
Can't wait to get the 06 engine rebuilt & installed. The 04 unit is great but I know that 06 will be a BLAST!

Charles, that's a badass bike. When I was a kid riding my Yamaha IT in the early 80's the bikes I liked second were the RM's, they had the straight up motorcross look. To me they have carried it through til today. I personally never have liked red so obviously never liked Hondas...and then they dominated at times so that sucked. Anyway back to your bike, killer bike man, it's cool on the stall...we've all done it maybe not on camera though..lol. keep throwin the roost man!🤘

I hear ya when you say valving was soft. I had my 08 valved and sprung for me by a local suspension guy and it just went threw the stroke a little fast. but I added maybe 6ml of fork fluid to the outer chamber and it slowed the stroke down and helped bottoming out. you ever mess with oil heights? I definitely can notice it.

Yes! Go pro in SuperView mode. Stabilization on. Captures everything and looks so much cooler seeing the bike move around.
You can use the standard height, camera anchor you just have to roll your camera all the way back until touches your chest

Exactly! A nice little break to decompress and take her with personal things for a minute. The jetting is definitely off. Running, sea level, jetting still, although should’ve been a bit rich at 2500 feet where we are now. A little bit of white in the silencer. But honestly, the clutching up is due more to lack of skill entering turns and have been out of the two-stroke rhythm in general. A little more seat time and a little more trust should fix that.

The AF two-stroke isn’t done yet, so I’m not sure. As far as the four stroke goes, they are like apples to oranges for me. Nice to have both and play on either when the mood strikes you know?
@@mxrevival thanks for the reply dude, I am a frame short of building my Rm 250 back up, I have been searching for 6months plus for an 04 onwards frame, form a trusted seller. I don’t suppose you would be willing to let one go?.. it’s been getting that bad I was thinking of doing a frame conversion like yourself but I think I need to continue my search to complete the 04 standard bike.
