    It's crazy you used that fin comb. I actually used them and have them in the refrigeration industry for condensing units to straighten fins and never thought about buying more and altering them like you did.I always used the machine screw drivers to straighten. Great job reconditioning those radiators.

    Hello from northern Minnesota - absolutely love the attention to detail frt to back !! Imo the triple trees and especially the swingarm ( which typically is just covered with a decal) is stunning and my favorite piece of all the work into the build !! The color off sets the yellow and really gives it the works look !!! Radiator repair VERY interesting 🤔 nothing these boys can't fix !! A +++ channel 👍 thank you for all revival and skill shack do for the dirt community ❤

    Labor of love!!! The amount of time and attention put into this build (and any build) makes a big difference. Don't rush the process and be patient. Take you time and try to get it right the first time to save yourself the hassle. Seeing all the different companies and people involved in this just goes to show how deep the support of the moto community is! Build relationships and support people who have an idea and a dream. Help them make it a reality. Start talking and build relationships with people and you'll be surprised what can come of it. I think this goes for life in general. Come together and get shiz done!! I hope this channel and future builds helps people connect and spark ideas and friendships so we can continue to see this kind of stuff grow! Thanks for the free tutorial and tips on the radiator. This is one anyone can do and is a good starting point for "DIY'ers" looking to start somewhere.
    *Side note - Did anyone else get sucked into the satisfaction of watching that radiator transform?! I sure did. Pretty cool before and after. Can't wait to see this thing done and in someone's garage!

    Dream build, love this thing, probably my most anticipated build that I've seen ya do yet. Really like the video brother.
    I love the fact you are showing the tools you have found over the course of years, trial and error, how to better improve bikes. A lot of us suffer with radiators and normally need to settle on inferior Chinese replicas, but thanks to your video bro you have inspired and taught us how to repair them.
    Really cool too showing all the parts and coatings, I'm feeling the titanium 💯 .
    Dude it was also super cool you gave us rm fans a little secret that isn't too known... the front brake caliper from a 2024 rmz bolts directly to to the forks... no one really ever talks about that.

      @mxrevival thanks Charles, I appreciate brother. Definitely enjoy all the videos as well as you and Tony's videos for mxskillshack. All the stuff you dudes drop is straight fire and super in depth. I appreciate the fact you take the time to make these videos and show people. A lot of builders and people who do it for a living, they are secretive and don't share the hard learned knowledge, they just show you the after results, and no the in depth like you. Much support bro 💯 and happy fathers day.

    Man Charles, I was checking out the RM on Instagram yesterday and the triple clamps smacked me in the face! That color is sick, and the other parts done with that color just pops. That particular reel though the clamps show first and man, it was instant candy! Lovin this build. Rads lookin tight....I've done quite a bit of fin straightening with the offroad oil field equipment I work on and have to say, nice job man cause it sucks. Those rads turned out outstanding for saving them. I'd be using em too at those prices, well, whoever is the lucky winner will be for sure! Lol. Have a great weekend you and the fam...🤙

  • @powerhausmotors2525
    @powerhausmotors2525 5 месяцев назад

    I love the attention to detail.
    It seems to me that sometimes some people did not appreciate the two strokes back when and that’s why you can find so many ragged and tattered machines today. Now that many manufacturers are no longer making these amazing two strokes, people are realizing what they are missing. This has brought about a revival in the two stroke machines where people are going all out with builds. Personally, I love it. To my knowledge, the first party that really got into the restoration of special race bikes was St. Neots in the UK.
    I have owned a number of bikes over the decades and only 3 have been four strokes (cbr900rr, gsxr750, and a DRZ400S). I have two stroke motocross bikes and two stroke street bikes. I don’t think I will ever own another four stroke motorcycle again. I don’t care what the manufacturers add do with traction control, wheelie control, antilock brakes, or anything else they dream up. All of my interest and money goes towards two strokes only.
    Builds like this RM250 inspire me to take care of my motorcycles and to go all out with my builds. Thank you for your inspiring attention to detail.

    • @mxrevival
      @mxrevival  6 месяцев назад

      Good eye! 2004. Some talk about it in episode one. Any older on 250s would’ve be
      To my knowledge, 04, 05 and 06 are all the same, including the plastic guide rings for the fork guard 47mm Showa TC’s.
      07 and 08 got rid of the plastic guide rings and went with some trim down steel type that look much better. Internally, I’m not sure if they differ from previous 04+ units.
      The earliest RMZ models used the same as well.
      But in 2003, on the 250 two stroke only, they would have been open bath KYB forks. Strangely enough, the 125 had Showa TC’s the entire time.
      (they also had the long ass front brake line, non-Honda style in 03. Honda patent on that ran out, and pretty much everyone had the shorter Honda style line by 05 with Suzuki potentially being the first in 2004)
      Thanks for watching!

    The dick jokes are entertaining with Uncle Tony @ mXskillshack but really enjoy the tempo and vibe of this side as well. You are an artist my friend. Enjoying your creativity as always.

      Thank you, dude! There are definitely a couple different dynamics.
      I guess we can call one of them “dick dynamics” 😂 we can’t help but screw off when we are working together. It’s pretty fun.
      Glad to show a little more personality between each channel and thanks for being a part of all of it

      I’m a past Army Medic, now a Firefighter… dick jokes are a national pastime. Love both channels equally. You inspire me to challenge my tuning and building. Even eyeballing a vapor setup myself. Just added a large ultra-sonic cleaner last most, works great… except on accelerator pump diaphragms lol.
