    • @EarthSurferUSA
      @EarthSurferUSA Год назад +1

      @@juanpablohinestrosa7929 Hmmm---I don't think so. RC retired with over a 83% win average in 10.5 seasons as a pro. Two of the big bike series, he won all 24 motos, and missed a 3rd perfect season by one moto. RC had a different motivation that he rest of us, and I figured it out in an interview (Whiskey throttle show), when he said, "I was terrified to lose, scared to death. I know no sport psychologist would say that is a good thing, but that is the way I was.". He was scared to lose, like we were sacred to crash on a big triple we have never cleared yet. What kind of environment would there have to be in grade school to make RC terrified to lose?
      He as a short, fat, red headed ginger kid,--and they all got bullied. He got bullied in school until he started winning amateur championships, and the bullying stopped.
      School bullying motivated RC to be the GOAT of MX. Isn't that ironic? Should we tell the teacher about it? :)

Not only is he the GOAT as a racer, but since retiring he’s effectively leveraged his knowledge, skills and abilities to his advantage (and ultimately ours) as an expert commentator, consultant and ambassador. I really like it when he’s the commentator for races being aired on TV. He has the best insights about what’s going on on the track, technology, etc. His involvement in Triumph’s development of off-road motorcycles bodes well for Triumph’s success. please put together a nostalgic race between the top guys from the 90s and early 2000s, on some 125s or 250s. most can probably still shred and I'd pay per view the shit out of that

    So awesome to see RC pinning it!
    It was absolutely astounding to see him push it like a beast back when he was the dominating pro champ.
    I was happy when I saw videos of him looking a little chubby and enjoying life after he "retired". Least he deserves if you ask me...
    Even happier to seem him now having lost the fat and still keeping it absolutely pinned.
    Legend!!

      I'm pretty sure that when high level activitys athletes retire they gain weight due to reduced intense workouts. Nice comeback Ricky.

    watching him ride is a thing of beauty- I was a migrate fan and had a hard time accepting Ricky- but on sheer will alone he is the GOAT. blessed to have lived through his entire career and the stuff with Stewart was the best motocross will ever be!

    i had the 99 kx 125 with the 99 splitfire graphics, gold talon hubs and black excel rims with the thor gear and white tech 8's. This sound track just takes me right back to my teens. dam i wish i still had that bike. RC is the goat.

    Anyone else ever noticed that a 2stroke coming at you sounds like it's fixing to fall apart. But the exhaust note after it gets by you gives you goose bumps. Always been a 2stroke person.

    I love this video! I don't care what anyone says, the '90s had some of the sickest team graphics & gear. This bike looked amazing & sounded incredible!
    One of my all time favorite team bikes was team Honda in '95-'96. McGrath always looked tge best IMO.
    I also loved the the PJ1 Yamaha team graphics in mid '90s. The all black & yellow looked sick.
