I really miss the racing between these two racers also but I am really glad that they never tried to make a comeback from retirement. I don't remember if anyone in motorized sports has ever tried to make a comeback and win the title. At least for RC the world's greatest, he was able to retire on his own terms.
There was a moment where Stewart could’ve made the pass on Carmichael on one turn but he hit the brakes and let Ricky go. That just shows the respect they have for each other even tho they were rivals at the time
0:44 I replayed this pass by Carmichael a dozen times in a row. Stewart’s scrubs at 3:11 and 3:22. Straight attack mode. So sick! 4:22 Stewart blasting the whoops past Carmichael, feet on the pegs in the next turn...beauty.
2 dos melhores pilotos da história do Motocross, esse vídeo mostrando os melhores momentos é excepcional para vermos como os 2 se saíram entre os outros pilotos, obrigado 😃
Man I really miss these Rivals when they raced, Ricky Carmichael, Chad reed Baba Stewart and Travis Pastrana . I was at some of these races At Anaheim February of 🤔2007 ?
Why do you assume that, because he's black or something? Cause he didn't lack the skill and wins needed, I dont know what you're implying with that otherwise? He's in the AMA Hall Of Fame... you have to be retired for a certain amount of time to be inducted, he was inducted the very same year he qualified for it. The fact he is black was a major reason why he was inducted, for moving the sport forward not just in speed and technique, but bringing in a whole new fan base and being a pioneer as the first black professional motocross and supercross racer, aswell as the first black champion at every stage of his career.. Even his brother got a 250 regional title, making them the first brothers to both earn a professional supercross title... There's been a lot of good brothers, one set even finished on the podium together on the same night, but not championships... doubt we'll ever see it done again.
@Ajax77 it was the fact the they said he cheated in taking illegal substances and yes because he was BLACK. Even James himself said he delt with racism growing up in the sport. I only said it might not happen also based off what supercross analyst were saying. Of course he was wayyy skilled enough and MY FAVORITE RIDER. My not be the goat to some but definitely the fastest to ever do it. If it wasn't for Stewart coming back to the sport and making a better name for himself, im not so sure they would have put him in the HOF. But he definitely overly deserves it!
I saw Carmichael at Minneapolis Supercross in the early 2000s. where the other riders would land on the back of the last woop he would take it all the way to the corner over another rider and land at full throttle. With a blast of mud and smoke he was gone.
Stewart made so much time in the whoop section. Always was an animal when it came to those. Still wish he would have let off just a bit on that final lap to let Carmichael leave on a win. Still, outstanding race!
Carmichael would not have wanted that. Ricky would rather end being beat straight up by the fastest man. The GOAT and the fastest in one race, amazing.
@@TheShepdawg9 You should watch their podcast episode together it’s great. According to them, in SX RC said he had to ride outside of his comfort zone to stay close with Stew and that he only ever beat him if Stew crashed. On the opposite, Stew said he couldn’t beat RC in outdoors without riding out of control and he’d usually crash trying.
Maybe but he is humble as it gets now check out his pod cast. He has no problem now talking about his faults. He is actually a cool cat once you listen to him talk now.
Ricky himself said Stewart would have beat him in 07, that Stewart had fixed the flaws at that point and was better. RC also said he wanted no part of Stewart going forward from 07. On the other hand, Stewart has talked about how RC was almost unbeatable in outdoors.
I must say I really miss these two legends! They made the sport super fun during their careers. Thanks for sharing.

Goosebumps watching that final race. You can race hard without resorting the dirty tactics. You could tell they were going at it 100 percent
Not according to Barcia or Anderson!
The look over to each other on the triple gave me chills
@ Tait Eddington lol truth.

foreal that gave me goosebumps
Super cross back then was Carmichael Stewart and then everybody else.
Gentlemen, both of them...rode clean and proper, magnificent riding.
What I loved most about these two legendary competitors, was their amount of class and respect for one another.
Wish these boys had the quality of video we have now. Such great racing!
Oh yeah !!! The good old days when we had real REAL supercross battles on the track.

Ricky, looking over and saying respectfully that he is enjoying the challenge is amazing‼️

your vids are top notch ... thank you
Much apprecaited! Make sure to share it helps a lot.
Alot of respect between them...gold old fashioned racing
Some of the best days to watch racing. Really wish Carmichael would have won his last race, although I despised him when he went to Honda.
Ya dont see racing like this anymore
Thanks for the video man!
No problem! more to come, stay tuned.
Love the good sportsmanship
Man, I miss my childhood hero’s.
Парни красавцы история!

The big boys side by side.
Two of the greats!
I just wish James got a little more respect and deserves to be in the HOF. Sadly probably won't happen smh

@Ajax77 trust me I know all about the Stewart's and met all of them a handful of times. And I'm also black lol
Legends the GOAT an the most Talented to ever swing a leg over a bike
Damn I miss these two.
He said it best at the end
I was the 259th like 🤘🏼
Um espanco q destruiu o até então melhor do mundo.

The best Carmichael 4
6:45 super gnarly
Could you imagine if they were in their prime together.

A competitor would never let up or win a race because someone let up. They went hard and now have lasting memories.
Carmichael did leave his last race with a with a win outdoors, his actual last race. This was his last race indoors.
Good way to lose your last race to the second best rider in history.
Stewart ever the best!
Top...
Kawasaki baby!
Stewart was just faster
Not in Motorcross though, was he?
@@TheShepdawg9RC was better in outdoors, but indoors Stewart has RC beat by 07 and had more speed even before then.
@@BLINC606 I'm fine with that

bubba x carmichael top
It's always easy to make a top fuel dragster... to go fast as hell.... no one picked up on that! Facts. Old news
Jeff emig wanted stewart to(have one of those mistakes)for reed are carmicheal to beat stewart
SHOULD HAVE JUST ADDED REED IN THE TITLE LOL
Stewart could run ricky down but Ricky couldn't catch stewart!
James Stewarts problem was he let all of the fame go to his head.
Maybe but he is humble as it gets now check out his pod cast. He has no problem now talking about his faults. He is actually a cool cat once you listen to him talk now.
Ricky wins 2 more titles if he races the full ‘07 season

james fast yes buT sory james . the goat better .
Not taking anything away from RC, but as far as I’m concerned JS7 will always be The G.O.A.T in my book.
6:58 Ricky does the dirtiest look-back of all time
