@CantoneseFoodRecipes UPDATE! Absolutely amazing delicious and very crunchy!!! I loved the hint of ginger, the meld of the seasonings was so good. My Husband was raving with positive comments as he was eating them. I dont know if different oils give different crunches. I used canola oil. I cooked the first fry at around 325 degrees for 10 minutes then flashed on high around 375 for the second fry for about 30 seconds to a minute while watching carefully. The wings were very crunchy and juicy. There was no burning and they were super golden. After trying many different Chinese wing recipes and them not turning out very good, THIS RECIPE WILL NOW BE MY GO TO RECIPE, and it will be inducted into my family recipe book, for everyone to access. Thank you so very much!............ P.S. I even used the chopsticks to turn and move them around. It was So much easier to gently grab them than with tongs or shaking the basket. The coating did not break. I look forward to trying some more of your recipes. 🤩 ❤️
Mum is a great cook, the only difference between this recipe and your other video recipe is ginger and you don’t split the wings. Since watching your last vid have used your recipe many times👍🏻
Hi, very disappointed with your recipe for the marinade for the chicken! In the video demonstration, your mother uses ingredients cornstarch, egg and pepper and these are not listed in your recipe at all. Only Cantonese speaking viewers will know that there are missing ingredients in the recipe and also the measurements teaspoon versus tablespoon are incorrect, therefore any viewers following your displayed recipe will not have the same results as shown by your mother. She says her chickens wings are like KFC and she will be shocked to know that the displayed recipe for viewers are missing main ingredients as cornstarch and egg.
They're showing it is corn flour in the recipe where we would refer to it as corn starch. Also in the video he calls it cake flour but I think that's all purpose flour. But if you're a cook, you can figure it out by watching!.
Oh, I'm ready to eat those wings. Thanks for sharing. Very good recipes!
