- This beautiful completely original rare Porsche 914-6 came to us from European Collectibles which has been in the business of restoring Concourse winning European sports cars since 1986.
We spent 2 full days to perfectly clean undercarriage, wheel wells and brakes that include cosmoline removal (factory protection wax).

This is so satisfying and the results are amazing. Now I just need a cheap DIY system for doing this myself at home.
It’s called a wife 😂
@@sahs3811 have one of those. Definitely not cheap.
That thing was pretty clean for 50 yrs old.
Damn that’s amazing! I didn’t even know that was a thing.
Yeah this is very new thing for many people, but actually is here few years.. but this is new type of the machine and we can do much more with it... Thank you for your comment :)
@@IAMDetailing Do you get a lot of debris? It doesn't appear so
Nice job and very interesting concept of using dry ice as the blast media.
I'd say that this particular 914 has been 'restored' at least once before...lots of 'new' parts on it and rather obvious 'modern' paint.
Thank you and yes dryice is great option especially for classic cars.
This particular 914 is completely original never restored with original 40k miles.
This is an amazing process for guys like me who clean cars and accept imperfections instead of show cars. I'd love to get an idea of the cost involved.
Very nice! What scissor lift is that? Looks awesome
Back in the 70's, you could get these cars well used for between $800 and $1,000!! I know, that's nuts. Wish I had bought about 10 of them. I could buy a really nice house! LOL. Another vehicle that was super cheap was the VW Bus. People could barely give them away back then. My Dad was into VW's at the time. In high school I drove a 56 VW Beetle with the small window in the back. That car was awesome. It couldn't go over 55 mph flat out, but it only cost me $8 every two weeks for gas! YEP.
That is very interesting. First time I have ever heard of this process. Can you tell me what does a job like this cost? I looked up the machine and see that it runs a few thousand dollars.
It’s not possible answer this question but you should expect price between $400-3500
depend on the car, condition and client’s needs.
This machine what we have is around $42k + 30hp compressor and other stuff.. so easily can be over $80k investment.
That’s probably why we are the first and only one detailing studio in US who owns this machine.
Great Job
Thank you
Perfect 😃👍
Too cool!
and what is your cleaning installation? and what do you clean?
Where do you get the ice pellets? Are there local manufacturers?
this so process with goal to clean, not remove paint etc, right?
Great work- where are you located?
I need a cold jet
Great, you’ve just removed all the factory underseal.
How many kg of dry ice is used for this process?
This exact car if I remember correctly something around 300kg ;)
What is that ice?
There’s a story with every scratch
😃👏🏻🇧🇷
Can you use ordinary blasting sand in that machine LOL?
I think the machine not will be run very well with sand :D
@@IAMDetailing Only joking, of course, but that blue Fiat was crying out for sand in places, where the rot was starting to work its way under the stonechip. I hope you get the work- then we will know it has been done to a high standard.
