    How is the jerky on/off throttle of the new bike in comparison to the Fz?

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  5 месяцев назад

      The Triple throttle is not jerky, no comparison to the FZ1. The FZ1 in stock form is not good, its on/off. When tuned its a night and day difference. I use Ivan's Performance tune, the FZ1 is now a pleasure to ride.

    Great review! I'm curious about the wind / wind noise! Of course, it's a naked! :) But was wondering. Is it a very clean air flow because of the extremely small sized front? Little buffeting? If you know what I mean! I've had several bikes with small windshields and large ones that can create a lot more wind noise, buffeting, and turbulence!!! For example, if you drop your head off to side away from the shield the noise is drastically reduced! Was curious your feeling on the street triple! Thanks!!

    • @Yo-Ken
      @Yo-Ken  Год назад

      Thanks... For me at 5'11" the air is clean with very little wind noise up to 65mph. I was thinking of a small windscreen, but from my past experience, they all caused more wind noise and buffeting. I think helmets also are a big factor. I have a Shoie GT Air 2, it's very quiet.

    I feel everything you're saying about the RS...... I test rode it a while ago but figured it was underpowered or slow compared to my old KTM Superduke 990. I was positively surprised, it's super fast, has great handling and looks really sexy. Of course a 1000cc is faster, but only on the straights. Some people would say you get what you pay for, but I would say you get a little bit more with the RS. For me a great price-performance ratio. And now I'm sitting here watching videos while waiting for my ordered RS. 😂
    PS: I understand the display thing, the good thing is that it's just software. You don't have to give up hope for a future update. For me personally, a layout on which you can read the engine speed would be really great - it's not that important to me personally to know how fast I'm driving.

      That's how I felt when I read the specs... power, weight and price point. It has not disappointed.

      I got them from Amazon, they are for yamaha's, but they fit perfectly. I would say the help, but just a little. I thought they would help the mirror vibs. If anything... they are good as sliders. a.co/d/hhmWe7X

    Hi Ken love your videos mate , I'm in England and have a gs1250 & moto2 street triple , when the Brits say plush suspension what we mean is it stiff but comfortable as it would round off the bumps never bottoms out , my gs feels like a rolls Royce compared as in to soft almost bouncy, I think the street is like a scalpel almost race bike in feel , just wish triumph did the moto2 in your yellow , ❤

    • @Yo-Ken

      No, I don't like the way they look, and from my experience it causes more wind issues with a small screen, and a touring screen would ruin the lines of the bike.

    I'm with you 100% on the RSs TFT, for me it's the ONLY downer on a great bike and what makes it worse is that the original 2017 Street triple TFT was good, then the 2020 one was not so good and the 2023 TFT is bad, in fact if Triumph offered me the dash of the Street triple R (also on the Trident and Tiger 660) to replace the present one I wouldn't even have to think I'd take it, Triumph should take a look at BMW TFTs, they're the benchmark, excellent. the RS is superb and I knew its TFT wasn't good but it was a really small complaint, not enough to put me off a great bike.

      @@Yo-Ken One has got to be really impressed with the MT-09's fuel mileage of 50 mpg though, with at least half the ride as a hooligan and the other half of it as a safe responsible rider. That's the other bike I am tempted to get. However, I just bought the DLR Cruise Control for the Triumph 765 so I guess I am leaning in that direction now. I read those posts; so bummed that that DLR switch will likely not work. I'm wondering if a dealer mechanic could enable it in the electronics like you can with the cruise control. 🤔
