i randomly came across this vid while looking for coloring tutorials, your way of explaining things is so great, youtube probably pushed you at the bottom of its algorithum, this video would have been super awsome if you had some very soft playing instramental music ,playing in the background as you work. great job again!

I'm so glad you liked it! Comments like yours really help motivate me and I'm so excited to make more videos. If only my day job would allow me more time to work on them...

Thank you for the videos , it is so useful!
Can you make more about "how to create comic series" ?
Like how to use speedline , effect for comic (like impact line) , how to create mood , how to make page more pretty (like what screentone to use, how to decorate)?
Oh and also how to make character blend with background (like when character color feels out of place with the background color sometimes)?
I like the way you explain it clearly and straightfoward 😊
It is easy to understand, I will be waiting for next vids

I love this and your videos are awesome but every time I reselect the selection layers and then go back to the “white” layer it leaves an outline around the selection. I’ve even overlapped the selection layers and it will still pop up. Plus the selection layers are really jagged edged too. Anyone help? Please.

Thank you for watching! For the issue that you're having, when you make the selection, make sure the anti-aliasing is set to "none". I have noticed there is sometimes an outline leftover if I made the selection with anti-aliasing turned on (weak, medium or strong setting).
I have noticed the selection tool tends to be jagged if I'm zoomed out a lot so you may want to make sure you're zoomed in enough. Also if I'm using a mouse versus a tablet that tends to happen as well.
With the anti-aliasing turned off, the edges will look a bit pixelated, but they shouldn't be really jagged.
Let me know if that helps and if not, maybe we could find a way for you to send me your file or take a video of how it looks for further investigation.

your channel is great, I am so sorry to see you have so few subscribers-maybe this can help: sure discreet but dynamic music would be great, but what very nearly had me switch your video off (apologies, i say this to help not to hurt) is your animated character, I'm sure you spent lots of time creating her and she's great bbbbut: I'm used to seeing channels were artists show their faces which stupidly feels like they are taking responsibility for what they say, and i can recognize them at a convention and that sort of thing, it's really idiotic but when i saw your animated avatar I thought "oh yeah, it's all manga look it even is hosted by a manga animation - it's for amateurs, it's for manga only, cheap naaah - let's move on to shyfoxx's channel (also manga look but the packaging is different)" again it's idiotic but this played in my head, thank god i resisted and watched your excellent video (and others on your channel) we want to meet you, you are selling us the idea of becoming you, show yourself, be cool in a cool room (cool meaning: ok with your personality). Now if i did a youtube channel i'd hate showing my face and being all artificially enthusiastic about my today's video, i guess i'd show a nasty self caricature of me (to show I have a sense of humour and dont take myself seriously) then i would have a running joke about viewers being lucky not having to see my ugly mug or that sort of thing. it's all packaging sadly, when what should really matter is the product. You should have more subscribers, I hope this helps and please forgive me for all this but i think constructive criticism is the most usefull thing .... hey: I subscribed! and i mean to follow you! wishing you the best of luck!

Aww thank you so much! I don't mind a bit of criticism at all since I am new to this, especially this video since it is a year old now (wow, can't believe it's been that long!). I really appreciate your comment and I'm glad you stuck around!
