    I see you only have 2 videos but just gotta say THANK YOU. You've literally made the one video I wanted to see in this whole process of learning clip studio. I wanted to see a sort of beginning to end of character to background, but since I already got the character down, the background was a big problem. Also with how to organize the layers. You're really a life saver. Thank you. Very under rated videos!

    Could you please let us know your entire comic making process? I'm very stuck on how to set up my vertical scroll pages for the purpose of thumbnailing multiple pages at ones (to see the overall storytelling decisions)
    and how to use thumbnails to move to final sketches!
    And how to slice the pages to upload and how to maintain quality while doing so!
    Any many more!

    Thank you sooo much!!!
    I wanted more direction on the last method. What do I search for in CSP to find those backgrounds and the icons (eg. The shock icon and the turn icon). Tbh I'm gon a use flat colours only for all my webtoon just like how Threads of Love does it. Less work and you don't have to be a light master to figure stuff out haha

    • @salem7622
      @salem7622  Год назад

      For the backgrounds, I usually search "webtoon"/"comic" and then filter by image material! If I am looking for a specific mood I'll type that for example "sad" then filter by either image material or material catalog. For the icons, I made my own set but if you search emotion then filter by material catalog there are some nice ones there.
      I just looked up that comic and it looks amazing for just using base colors I wish I could do just that but I neeeeed to add some shading lmao 😩

    What’s your webtoon?

  • @Purpleannie19
    @Purpleannie19 Год назад

    Heeeey, did you know you can change the color of the backgrounds? There's a layer mode named "color" apply the gradient to the background and clip it. Make yellow turn blue or something.

    • @salem7622
      @salem7622  Год назад

      oooo i've never used that layer mode I'll try it out!

    salem how to make canvas webtoon less than 500kb i mean what size i should using for making thumbnail in canvas webtoon? i have using 1080x1080 but its still more than 500 kb, so i cant upload it

    • @salem7622
      @salem7622  Год назад

      The dimensions you have to use are 160 x 151 @ 72 dpi! It will look blurry in csp but it should look a little better when you upload it to webtoon

    You don't want the background to be too busy but each to their own
    "Proceeds to spolodge a blob of color in the mirror"
    I'm too lazy so pretend*
    Lol
