The Thai's herb wrapping in a stick is called "Miang-Kum" which Miang means snack and Kum means a bite. The ingrediants inside a wrap basically are lime, ginger, red onion, peanut, roasted coconut, dried shrimp, chilli top with sweet-fish sauce
I’m sold on this couple. They are brilliant in how they pack, spend and travel. I wish my hubby helps with packing, but I can’t complain, he does all the rest.
At 4:58 it's unsalted milk to mix with tea. Add it and it's more delicious than before. It's fermented milk that is very delicious but it is recommended to combine it with a drink. You shouldn't drink it for nothing. I'm Thai. Thank you for coming to Thailand. ❤️
I feel proud for Thai people that foreigners appreciate things in Thailand. and if there is something that is not good for the heart I apologize on behalf of the Thai people here. I come from Thailand fc 🤣♥️
Absolutely Loved This $5,00 Food Challenge From The Moment It Started Until The Moment It Ended. Congrats On Making It. My Favorite Was The Friend Banana Yum Yum
Love the dessert buffet you picked at the end. Your Khao Soi made my mouth watering. Your $5 food challenge was really changing given both of you are vegetarian and the choices for vegetarian would be limited at night market.
Im from Chiang Mai but been live in US for culture exchange program for a year now , you guys remind me how much I miss home and food there ! I enjoy it here a lot but can't wait to go back haha:)
I’ve been to the Sunday market many times I’ve been going long enough to remember when they had the same market on both Saturday and Sunday nights. I met a Thai lady there from BoSang in 1999 that became my friend and after a few years, she became my next door neighbor in BoSang when she sold my Thai wife land and I built a house on it. I’d go to the Sunday market to eat but also to check out handicrafts Carvings, should as teak statues and teak wall carvings, I bought and displayed in my BoSang house or my house in the U.S. Even though it’s about a 20 minute drive from my house, and parking isn’t great, I’ll make it a point to go a couple of times in September =October. I tend to go to the local markets also. San Kamphaine has a nice Saturday market. As does Ton Pao, where I live, on Sunday. I attend that one just about every Sunday when I’m at my Chiangmai house. Thanks for the reminder about how great the Sunday market is.
Really enjoy your video. I'm Thai but never been to this market before. Seems there's a lot of tasty food. It's so cool that you can have all of those food within budget. Great job.
I can pretty much give you 2 a thumbs up before I even watch the video!!! Guaranteed entertaining and informative!! Another wicked awesome video!!!! Loved Jordan's face when you said he didn't have to share!! 😂
Another excellent vlog...half way through I had to pause it and get something to eat! I felt like I was there, eating with you two. I even ate vegetarian too, carrot sticks and tzatziki. The pair of you are VERY persuasive.
Great videos guys. Thanks. I tried some Thai food and I did not like the fish sauce on things. I hope I will learn to love love Thai food. I will be sure to try the Butterfly Pea Tea in Chiang Mai.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, the fish and oyster sauce isn’t for everyone, but there are plenty of dishes without it. Hope you enjoy the butterfly pea tea! Be sure to get like or lemon juice with it!
Please be careful when you stay in Thailand, where never sleep for eating 24 hours, hope you will enjoy live and eat more Thai food and please try to eat mango sticky rice, which is the recommended menu that you should not miss it. Thanks you very much for great VDO to present and share to World.
I’m so glad you had miang kham because we’re going in June and I so badly wanted to try it, but didn’t know what it was called 😅. I made a note of it so I don’t forget!
"Miang Kham" Normally it's will serve as a set of sha poo leaf ,onion, fried coconut, ginger, syrup made from sugar and kapi(shrimp paste) and you have to cover it all by your self but the one you bougt is the portable version of it to make it easier to eat.
I loved watching this and seeing all the wonderful foods. I used to live in Thailand 16 years ago and I does make me sad that they don't seem to be using any less plastics now.
I'm happy to know Chang Mai is vegetarian-friendly. I'm not seeing too much dairy, which makes me happy because I'm lactose intolerant. Great food recommendations.Do Thai's use Milk or Coconut milk? Is there anything I should avoid that has hidden dairy?
I recommend if you order beverages in Thailand you can ask them to do less sweet or you can said it in Thai “หวานน้อย” wan noi . If you pronounce it wrong it gonna mean more sweet please lol. Hope this useful to you.
The street food in Santa Fe , New Mexico close to where I live is excellent but many of the vendors are unlicensed meaning you are taking a chance that I tend to be willing to take 😋

The last “milk” is evaporated milk. Most thai drinks are even too sweet for thais so don’t be shy to ask for 50% sweetness. Safe travelling guys.
