- This is a foundation review I'm really excited about making, but my skin doesn't generally like the Charlotte Tilbury formulas so will the new Beautiful Skin Foundation be different? I've tested this foundation out over 4 days and I have a lot to say! Hope you find it helpful xxx

I haven’t got on with any of her other foundations - my 57yr old normal to dry skin found them to be a bit heavy and cakey but this sounded like my cup of tea from the get-go so I will definitely be ordering!

Such a thorough review with a multi day wear test, down to the mention of fragrance and no SPF. I really appreciate the way you don’t use any helpers on the first day. Such a relief you were happy with it since the reviews have been mixed after I placed my order. Like others, I would enjoy a review from your mum as well 💕
Wow! I'm so impressed with your wear test I just ordered my own. I can't believe it looked so good even after wearing a mask! My skin went from oily to dry in the past few years and I need a more hydrating foundation. Knowing you have dry skin also I couldn't believe how great this looked on you! Thank's for giving this foundation a try.

I was shocked at how really good this looked, even after many hours of wear! The reasonable price and the excellent packaging as well as its performance, has convinced me to buy it. It's gorgeous Gemma 😍
I also appreciate that it's not a glowy foundation. I'm veering away from this type of finish as I feel they emphasise my crinkles and pores.

I've had high hopes for this one so happy to hear it's as good as I imagined it would be. Your review is so detailed & helpful. I'm just recently switching to a more Dewey finish & have been trying different ones. Sounding like this could be at the top of my list. Lol. So far have about 3 higher end ones I'm liking & will sample this but might just be the first one I purchase.

I’m so excited now to receive this foundation!! I have dryer skin due to retin-a use and her other foundations didn’t work out as well as I’m hoping this will. Thank you so much for all those tips, I have dry flaky bits always around my mouth right now and I’m for sure going to try the marula oil trick.

I was hoping you would review this foundation and as always a very comprehensive review. I always find Charlotte Tilbury foundations look good in person but take a photo & I look like I've no makeup on at all, in fact this was the main reason I haven't bought any more of her foundations. However, this looks great on your skin & the staying power is a bonus.

I got a sample of this and I really love it too. Like you, I haven’t been a fan of any other CT foundations, but this one looks great and wears really well on my 48yo skin. Thanks for the fantastic review and tips about primers etc 💜
How did you get a sample? I'm sick of buying fountains and it not sitting right on my skin after a hour or so because I have a oily nose area. A sample would be great because I have spent a small fortune on foundation the last few months. Thank you

Hi Gemma, ❤️ that you have applied some highlights back to your hair. Saw the Wayne Gods review of this foundation and he believes this product is wonderful particularly if we are looking for a light weight item. This foundation willl be a winner for me.

The claims on CT are poppycock but I do quite enjoy her lipstick and liners. I finally broke down and bought the Hollywood Filter, used it immediately today when it came in the mail, and now I’m in love with it as well.

I absolutely love this look! I prefer this over the high end look. I tried the Physicians Formula Butter foundation. I loved the look but it oxidized horribly and I really didn’t like the weird smell.

I am excited to try it now. So glad you like it. I ordered 3 cool. I also have not gotten along with her other foundations. Not sure why but they’re don’t feel good or look great once they are applied. Her claims on the products are getting ludicrous and diminish her products. It does look really lovely on you even when you just put it on with little prep. Thanks for the tips I will use them. 👍.

I’m neutral.
Would you have any advice on how to choose foundation shades online? The reason I’m asking is I wore YSL touché eclat foundation all summer in B50 , I ordered B45 online for winter thinking it would be lighter but when it arrived it was a darker shade. I assumed it was my mistake and went into a store to check, it should have been lighter!! I ended up buying B40 in store for winter and think I’ll be able to mix it with the ‘B45’ (if that’s actually what they sent me!) with the B40 in summer and then it won’t have been a total waste.

I get quite cross with CT because of all the heavy advertising which I feel we’re paying for! But I couldn’t resist ordering this yesterday after Charlotte Holdcroft had reviewed it, I’ve ordered the same colour as you and it does look amazing on you.. here’s hoping I get the same results!! ☺️

Oh my god, there are so many mixed reviews out there! I think it’s too risky for me to buy it just to try it because I have my holy grail Touché Eclat Le Teint so I don’t think I can splurge on a new foundation right now when there’s a possibility of me not liking it.
