It looked so pretty on you Lisa! I really love it for my 62 year old super dry skin. It does remind me somewhat of IT CC Cream…but much lighter weight…the IT CC Cream can go pretty cakey on me. Even without setting powder I found it to be pretty long lasting…. It wore quite gracefully. I’m not sure how it will be in the hot humid summer when my skin is more normal…and maybe not for more combo/oily skinned gals?
I do have this foundation and I do like it. It doesn’t look heavy and wears well for me. I love that it looks like skin and doesn’t look heavy. I would say that I have combination skin and I got the right shade and I was thrilled as I did order on line. Thanks 😊

I wore it with a primer, applied with fingers and blended with a sponge, set with CT Airbrush Flawless powder. The application gave a lighter coverage (my preference) that wore beautifully with a nice soft, natural glow. Removed after about 5 hours with zero issues. I've also been wearing the new Chanel No 1, which I prefer. Thank you Lisa for another great review!

I reckon ALL foundations would like great on your skin, you really do have beautiful skin 😍 I decided not to get this one, I bought the Chanel no.1 foundation instead. Purely because I'd heard/seen quite a few not so great reviews and had I not liked it, I would've been stuck with it, we can't return opened products over here. So, I bought the Chanel as I knew this would work on my skin. I'm so glad I did, it's a beautiful foundation. Thank you for your honest review. I live in Australia, it’s summer here & quite humid. I am 60, my skin is on the drier side. I am in love with this foundation, it does not roll off my face like most foundations do in the humidity, it still looks good at the end of the day. I use CT Airbrush Flawless Powder to set my makeup. I am wearing 4N. Of all the CT foundations, I like this one the best for summer in the subtropical climate we have here.

I tried the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation for the first time today. I like the slight radiance and moisture that it gives my skin. I am a dryer skin type and prepped my skin with serum, moisturizer and sunscreen before the foundation. Its wore well for me but my skin is DRY. I used Charlotte's online state matching tool (skeptically) but it was spot on for the color match at 4 neutral. thank you for the review. I tend to choose a foundation, try it and then see what my favorite RUclipsrs have to say about it. I am watching Angie's video next😉
This seems to be a bit too glowy for me, so Lisa have you tried the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation as of yet? Would love your thoughts and a review on that. I hear that is it not as glowy as this Charlotte one. Have you done videos on foundations for combination skin types? Thanks!

Im a big fan of CT products too. I really like this I got 7w. The color is just right. I was worried of it being too shiny or not enough coverage, but its buildable and gives a nice glow. I couldn’t find a good shade in the It Cos cc cream. Happy CT has many shades. I will surely rebuy this.
My daughter was in Peter Pan too! She was Mrs. Darling! It’s so fun to watch our kiddos grow in their confidence!! Of course, this mama teared up when she sang her solo. ❤️❤️

Hi Lisa. I am 67 years old and I went to Nordstrom to try it right after being at the gym on Monday. I only had a serum and a sunscreen on (Olay fragrance free for sensitive skin). The woman at the counter put it on my face and it started to pill and come off while she was spreading it on my face. She then gave me a sample and told me to go home and try it with my usual skin care products (which is different from my go to the gym skin routine) I usually follow Angie from Hot and Flashy's morning routine. But no matter how much I tried, I couldn't get it to work for me. I have sort of normal to dry skin. It settled in my pores so it was sort of that poka dot look and it settled into my fine lines and nose area, looking cakey. I have been working with it every day trying different techniques (fingers, brush, damp sponge) and products underneath, using different sunscreens different primers, no primers, no sunscreen, but I just can't get it to work for me. I was so looking forward to purchasing this product. I thought it might give my mature skin a little lift and some radiance, but it does not work for me. I am very grateful the sale women didn't sell it to me, but instead gave me a big enough sample so I could really try it out. I have it on now and it is just so so, I have Benefit primer on but no sunscreen. I can see everyone else here liked it. Maybe I can just put it on my face with just a light moisturizer on my skin and see what happens. I don't know why it isn't working for me. Thanks Lisa.
Seems like a nice dewy foundation. Dewy finish isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I personally don’t mind a middle of the road dewy formula but I also enjoy soft matte if I moisturize well enough. Currently on a makeup and skincare no buy for 2022 but if this is still around next year I may pick it up once I run out of something else.
I've seen a few reviews on this foundation from women close to my age, 57 and love it. Held off on purchasing. Since you appear to like it, guess I'll be ordering soon, since our location is the same. Do you think a setting spray could have prevented the break up around the nose? I wore this for the first time yesterday and found it not to be glowy at all. Not sure why. Here in AZ it is pretty dry right now, given no real winter moisture due to La Nina😢..and I have mature dry skin. I did find that it blends smoothly, evenly. The Hyaluronic acid is never a turn on for me because if it can’t pull moisture from the air it will pull from the skin(eek)…so am glad it is lower in the ingredient list. I have to mix Marula oil with moisturizer in order to replenish moisture prior to applying the foundation but it helps like crazy for a great application.

I bought this foundation and used it the other day… I’m a 2N and I really liked it however I did go to the dentist so around my mouth area it moved but that’s to be expected. I’ll keep wearing it for sure!!

Lisa, thanks so much for the review. I too did a wear test on my 54 year old skin. It’s really pretty, as I enjoy a dewy look. I did however feel a little “makeupy” after about an hour of it being on my skin. What impressed me the most was how much it covered my sun spots. Overall, I think it’s very pretty and will keep using it. I just recently filmed the Chanel No.1 foundation 🧐🤔🥰🥰🥰. Now I’m on the fence with the Nars. I didn’t intend on picking it up…but it too looks AMAZING!
I returned it - too makeup-y! But also strangely pretty :-) Have also been considering the nars but… ugh. Picking a shade and I’ve never worn Nars foundation so it’d be a chore!

I would have liked to see this without the alastin underneath. I wear this product. Often alone as a foundation. It is the best sunblock I have found; however it does change the appearance of foundations when applied over it. Very nice presentation though
I really enjoy this foundation. I'm a bit bummed as I originally bought 4N and it was a decent match but a *bit* too cool for me. I exchanged it for 4W and 4W is a bit too warm, almost orangey on me. I probably need a mix of the two but I'm not sure if I will buy another. Great review, as always.😊
Thanks for the review. I will not be buying it because if the color matches arent that great why pay higher price? Thats usually a low end issue. Also I am think I g that glow is too much for me. I am combo to oily and prefer a velvet look vs glow.
Hi I got my one last week it’s a very pretty foundation & very skin like my skin is a tad oily in the t zone but it lasted well but as you said it needed to be powdered 🌺🌸🌸🌹🇬🇧

I’m in the “hated it” category! It didn’t last for more than about 4 hours and even then it was SO drying! Super patchy and cakey looking. I returned it. I’m 52 with pretty normal skin that can get dehydrated.
@Jillybean On Screen I have seen/heard quite a few reviews.. it’s wry hit and miss. I think it is probably a good idea to get a sample and try it out. It seems to work for some and not so much for others…
i tried 6N and its a lil too dark for me too. 5N is way to olive for me. Lucky i tried 4N and 4W, i can do both but 4W is so perfect for me. Maybe you can try that?
I tried and returned - it was just too heavy and makeup-y for me :-) I thought it was REALLY pretty, though and wanted it to work, but… I did a side-by-side with the L’Oréal serum stuff and the comparison really showed how poor the CT was on my skin. I think I might have been off a shade and have been thinking of trying again because I DO like glowy and thought it was so pretty - especially from 5 feet from the mirror with my glasses off 😂
I have dry skin and this foundation looked awful on me. It also felt sticky. After trying a second time, I still didn’t like it at all. I threw it away.
I haven’t purchased this foundation because it looks too glowy for me. I used to like the Magic foundation but I’ve found that it’s really hard for me to get a good color match with CT foundations.

Definitely not for my very oily skin. I think its almost a copy of Trinny London's BFF De-Stress. Which is a stunning foundation but also too glowy for me, darn it. Oily skin is so hard to work with!
Positives- Shade match 4W perfect. Looks pretty from a distance. Cons - broke apart very quickly. Felt/looked wet Enhanced pores and texture I wish it had worked. Unfortunately It’s a big no for me. Returning.
Returned it twice...love CT but this was a big disappointment! Did no like the colors or coverage. matched me to a 6 way too peachy..5 way too yellow. Its a NO for me!
Let's be real. This foundation does not look great on her. It is shiny around her nose and around mouth - from beginning to end of wear. It looked just off. Lisa is trying too hard to be over accommodating. Lisa is beautiful, the foundation, not so much.
I don’t mind a dewy or glowy foundation. But every review I’ve seen of this, the person looks greasy not dewy. And everyone had powdered it multiple times. Pass.
Have watched every video I can find on this foundation. Still have not seen any where it looks good, my opinion only. Too heavy, too shiny, no natural appearance at all. Looks very "old fashioned" to me. Nothing subtle and pretty. So glad I did not buy this.

Dry skin and I like it. I mix with a light moisturizer to thin a bit and it works well. I use pressed powder. A little goes a long way.

Thanks for the review. I will not be buying it because if the color matches arent that great why pay higher price? Thats usually a low end issue. Also I am think I g that glow is too much for me. I am combo to oily and prefer a velvet look vs glow.

I try the Alastin tint followed your recommendations but didn’t work for me it burn my face around my mouth and I also try the eye one and also burn and peeled my eye lid so sad I can’t use them but thanks for sharing all that happens to me let me be more cautious on what I buy after that🥰

I’m in the “hated it” category! It didn’t last for more than about 4 hours and even then it was SO drying! Super patchy and cakey looking. I returned it. I’m 52 with pretty normal skin that can get dehydrated.

I have seen/heard quite a few reviews.. it’s wry hit and miss. I think it is probably a good idea to get a sample and try it out. It seems to work for some and not so much for others…

I have drier skin and really loved it,I got it in 6N and the color is just a tad too dark though
i tried 6N and its a lil too dark for me too. 5N is way to olive for me. Lucky i tried 4N and 4W, i can do both but 4W is so perfect for me. Maybe you can try that?

I tried and returned - it was just too heavy and makeup-y for me :-) I thought it was REALLY pretty, though and wanted it to work, but… I did a side-by-side with the L’Oréal serum stuff and the comparison really showed how poor the CT was on my skin. I think I might have been off a shade and have been thinking of trying again because I DO like glowy and thought it was so pretty - especially from 5 feet from the mirror with my glasses off 😂

I have dry skin and this foundation looked awful on me. It also felt sticky. After trying a second time, I still didn’t like it at all. I threw it away.
I haven’t purchased this foundation because it looks too glowy for me. I used to like the Magic foundation but I’ve found that it’s really hard for me to get a good color match with CT foundations.
I also Got extreemly shiny with The new Charlotte tilbury foundation BUT i tried it with The new Hourglass primer and The i did not get shiny😉❤️
I did not like this foundation. It did not wear well on me. I tried it with several different primers and moisturizers. I’m 62 with normal skin. Just not worth the price for how it performed on my skin. Thanks for your review!
Definitely not for my very oily skin. I think its almost a copy of Trinny London's BFF De-Stress. Which is a stunning foundation but also too glowy for me, darn it. Oily skin is so hard to work with!

Returned it twice...love CT but this was a big disappointment! Did no like the colors or coverage. matched me to a 6 way too peachy..5 way too yellow. Its a NO for me!

Let's be real. This foundation does not look great on her. It is shiny around her nose and around mouth - from beginning to end of wear. It looked just off. Lisa is trying too hard to be over accommodating. Lisa is beautiful, the foundation, not so much.

I don’t mind a dewy or glowy foundation. But every review I’ve seen of this, the person looks greasy not dewy. And everyone had powdered it multiple times. Pass.
Have watched every video I can find on this foundation. Still have not seen any where it looks good, my opinion only. Too heavy, too shiny, no natural appearance at all. Looks very "old fashioned" to me. Nothing subtle and pretty. So glad I did not buy this.
