I saw them at the ground up music festival and it was the first time I had seen Josh. I was blown away by his talent. He and TaRon are a ridiculous combo.
What a wonderful gig @LeverkusenJazz!! What a fat funky, soulful, gospel Sound. Listening made my day. Love this music. Music is truly a gift. Corey please come again...
The Lick @ 7:12. Thanks for sharing. I just wish he still have that great guitar player in th band, the cat that recorded 'Art Of Love', a tight and beautiful album, which s IMO a modern R&B/Neo-Soul-Jazz classic record.
@@AkibulanHorusRA I was there as well.... the sound was really really bad. I had tickets for second row and didn't hear anything Cory was playing, when bass and drums were playing as well. Also before the show started, the band had some trouble with the stage plan. Some instruments and microphones had been put on the wrong place. So when Cory entered the stage, you could see something was wrong. And the fact, that the crowd wasn't that hyped (because of the acoustical circumstances) somehow broke the magic on stage I think. I'm a musician as well and maybe one of the biggest fans of Cory Henry. I watched every video of him playing, analysing and studying his music, as well as his emotional expression. And I didn't recognize him that evening. Maybe it was just me and I don't wanna say the band could have done anything better. But from what I heard in the crowd and what people wrote in the livestream chat, the audio engineering did a great job with the digital and livestream mix, but had some trouble with the live room mix. After all I'm happy anyways to have been able to see Cory live. To hear this on RUclips now, gave me chills, since it sounds completely different than I remembered it live, but I finally can enjoy the music.
Only 15 min in and this is my new fav live concert recording of Cory's. Energy is so good and the sound is so clean. Its always a bummer in a way when the lineup changes but this group sounds so great.
I'm here to testify,I was pregnant and the doctor told me that I will give birth to a baby with down syndrome, but God didn't allow that , my baby girl came so perfect and so beautiful today she's 6months so beautiful and his name is TESTIMONY
Good catch, I don’t know if this was Cory’s decision to play more and talk less to have more music in video, or is it some video editor cut. Because I visited previous concert of this tour and everything from past were here: “you can dance”, “how many bodies?”... He also offers stuff from his store 😃
how is no one talking about the bass player... makes no sense. dude is a beast !!!! seeesh
He is really great. His name is Joshua Easley
Man he was killing it

@tiwoni972mad How are YOU not talking about the bass player? 🤔

1:02:09 Kudos to the director for showing a close-up on the only person in the entire hall clapping on 1 and 3

Props to the audio engineers. That leslie sounds immaculate.
I’ve heard far too many albums that don’t sound anywhere near as astounding as this splendid mix does…
Wholeheartedly agree with you....
Having public broadcast sometimes pays out after all.
leverkusener always delivers super high quality footage and sound! great concert! thanks!
Just want to mention that "Leverkusener Jazztage" means "Jazzdays of Leverkusen" -> it's a city in germany
I agree, perfect memory for this tour
No keyboard duo better than Nick Semrad and Cory Henry. Honestly

Yeah I just noticed too. Definitely missing an element
The Cory Henry lick 😀
I guess he's using the moog to cover for the guitar. Still think he should have kept him.
@@ngwejimfumu299budget isn’t always there for large band setups folks. Besides I reckon he wanted this setup for this sound
I saw and heard the gig live. Cory is really a great musician. And the band was marvellous!
just recycled cliches, nothing new.
Germany is always a very lame crowd@@AkibulanHorusRA
Do better and post on RUclips @@song4night

Cory thinks where other musicians stop to think ❤😊
Thank you so much for uploading this masterpiece. ❤

Very good sound quality.
I wait the day when RUclips allows upload at least music videos with sound in codec without loss. Not in opus 251 like now
Or at least closer to no loss than now.
Higher ground is a revelation!
ce morceau "don't forget" est une tuerie !!.....du bon son, magistral !🥰😇

man, this is a great concert!

This is super cool!
In past years Cory used to adress the audience „you are not required to stay in your seats, if you feel like moving just get up and dance“ 😊

At least someone that listens to Cory Henry
Very good, but where is Sharay Reed and guitar player ?
Asking myself the same thing. But Mr. Easley rocks too.
Sharay Reed and Adam Agati are mysteriously silent online…. 😏

I feel the same.

his music is a collection of cliches recycled.
you just defined music. good job!
His music is based on tradition and has roots. PS: I'd love to hear some suggestions of music you enjoy.
