I need to go slighly lighter than modern gray in an adjoining east facing room. Any ideas on Paint colors I can try. I have modern gray in my west facing room and it looks great but need a smidge lighter for east side of house which has much less natural light
Modern Gray, City Loft, etc matches everything and looks very clean.
sadly city loft which I loved in photos, went PINK in my house ;( Modern gray is a good fit for me though
As soon as I closed on my new construction home last year, I hired painters to paint all the walls Modern Gray and I love it. Best decision I've ever made. It's so clean and crips. It looks great with my Extra White trim and ceilings. Highly recommend.

It's interesting that you associate Modern with Mid-Century Modern. I don't. To me Mid-Century Modern is relatively recent term (I'm pretty old) and soon it will lose the "modern" and be called Mid 20th Century.

Hey I painted my house using Sherwin Williams satin SuperPaint last year and recently tried to clean crayon off using soap and water, but the paint started coming off. Do you have advice? Walls were primed and Professionally painted. Should Sherwin Williams replace paint for free?
No, SW isn’t the culprit. Superpaint is a solid paint just get a roller and paint that area.
