@@maryanna71701 same difference. Non-colors. You can take a gray or off white or beige and do literally anything with it. Using a real color is different. That would be interesting. Honestly, I’m not going to watch anymore unless it’s an actual color. It’s not worth the time investment.

To improve your suggestions of similar colors from competing paint manufacturers, creating a database of the RGB values of every paint from each company would be useful. You then could simply lookup the paint from each company that has the same (or nearly the same) RGB values as the paint you are discussing. For example the RGB values of Sherwin Williams Modern Gray is 214 / 206 / 195. Search your database of each paint company for that RGB value, or near that value, to get the equivalent paint color. I don't have the database, but Muslin from Dunn-Edwards has an RGB of 212 / 208 / 197. Close, but you could do better with the database to quickly find the exact match (along with the LRV).
