I have Pearly White in my west facing guest room and soon in my Jack & Jill bathroom. I'm obsessed with it! It's both warm & cool and very cozy. It does have a wink of green in some lights but I don't mind it. It looks fantastic with SW Pure White trim and black hardware!
Perfect timing! I have a red brick home and was researching some greige colors to update the trim (it’s currently a dated yellow). I was hoping a greige could work well since I’m looking for light, but nothing stark. ❤
Hi. Loved you video. There is so much to paint colors. It’s so hard. I am wanting to paint my decorator white walls with classic gray on woodwork. Ceiling a color. The ceiling is 10 ft beadboard. Small beach cottage. I just not seeing much in the way of painted ceilings other than crazy color stuff. I was thinking of sea salt or neutral ground. Whet are your thoughts ? Thank you for any help you can offer.
I am thoroughly enjoying your content and feel better prepared in choosing items for our home rebuild! What would you recommend wall colors for an open concept, south facing with accessible beige cabinets; panda white, baby fawn, white dove, Swiss coffee?? Thx!! You’re the best!
@@martadansie6179 thank you for the kind words:) That’s tough because I need to see what type of fixed elements, interior decor and interior design of your home. I’ve never recommended interior or exterior paint colors based on paint colors only, it’s not the right approach. Try SW Panda Whitebif you don’t want yellow undertones.
@@elektras6325 there is always an answer to a problem when you understand how a paint color will relate to the fixed and furnished elements, lighting and interior design layout of a north facing room. I love north facing rooms, so many possibilities when you know what you’re doing. I wish you the best.
Awwww thanks 😊. Your video is very helpful, I’m still going to swatch a few on my walls. Plan to choose the one I like and just increase the artificial lighting in my house if needed.
Finding the right greige has been a chore with a west-facing room that gets deep shadows (open plan), with NO green undertones. Nothing is more depressing in a house than green walls. They just look institutional.
glad to see you have returned here, Sir.
Thank you for your kind words:) Happy to be back!
Great review! I love how you show how the paint will look in north and south exposures! Thank you for posting this!

So good to see you, Jacob! I was wondering what you thought of SW White Sesame.
@@CB-vg1wq it’s good to be back:) White Sesame is a taupe greige. It’s a chameleon. Sometimes can have a pink undertone.

I love SW White Heron. It's a real chameleon too in all the good ways. (If one likes that; I do!) 😊
@@beautifulvictory9683 it’s a beautiful paint color, I’ve had a lot of great experiences using this paint color for many clients over the years:)
I tested White Heron in my north facing room. It's pretty but has a violet undertone in this room. Violet is my least fave. Onto the next
@@DCornwell-d2t, Well, now you know. All my shifts don't give off goofy undertones.
