In this vlog you’ll be able to watch as I prepare my hospital bag, clean my room, and all around prep for double jaw surgery. I’ll also provide some insight into my one week pre-op appointment, and my feelings towards the surgery. Then you’ll follow me into the hospital on the day of surgery!

What bottles did you use? When I look on Amazon they don’t seem to be made to be used for this… my daughter needs them as she is 5 days post op
Search for “squeeze wash bottle” on Amazon. They should have the angled tips that are super helpful for drinking! Wishing her a speedy recovery! 🙏🏼

How long did u have to wear braces before surgery ?
I personally had to wear braces (Invisalign) for a year and a half, as covid pushed back my surgery date. It’s pretty standard though to wear braces for at least a year before you can get the surgery!
I’ve had braces for a few years, but my teeth relapsed because of my bottom jaw as it could not support my top teeth. They gave me braces again on my top teeth but told me that they will relapse again if i get them off, so my only option is another phase of braces and then surgery. I am kinda scared but I know it has to be done and it’s the only way out for me. I hope you are recovering well can’t wait to follow along your journey and learn some tips as well 💗
Oh no! I’m sorry you’ve had to go through all of that :( I think you’ll be happy to hear that I’m currently 4 months post-op and am nearly 100% healed!! I’m also hoping to get posting to this channel again soon. 🫶🏼

Why do you need jaw surgery? You are beautiful!!! Women kill to have a jaw like yours. Is it because something we can't see? Like alignment or bite issues?
Yes, that’s exactly it - I had a major underbite that was preventing me from properly chewing food (only one point in my mouth touched). My first video goes in depth of my reasons for getting the surgery :)
