Great lesson on helping us with individual finger dexterity by learning these classic riffs. Make our noodling more beneficial, I love it. Beat buddy brings so much to your lessons with seemingly little effort . Well done as always. Rick
Thank you Geoffrey - that's so great! Very glad you've been enjoying. Happy to have you here with us and I appreciate you taking the time to write. Cheers! Shane
@ Thanks so much for your reply Shane. I am a Londoner that now lives in rural Normandy in France, I do hope you fully understand that this was not just a glib comment but a sincere expression of my deep appreciation of your inspired work. Sometimes/often 😉 i get bored with my relentless practicing and you help enormously to bring a little discipline to my work. I can not thank you enough and I will become a patreon member to your channel. So many miles that separate us and yet a common bond. With love and affection 👍
Just ordered my Beat buddy. Couldn’t use your promo so I hope you still get credit. Either way thank you for the tip and the great lessons. Rock on brother!
Hey thank you Bud - I very much appreciate that and I know that you've been here with us for a long while - My very best to you and have fun with it! Shane
I got the BeatBuddy and the Aeros looper, and oh my! So much fun to be had! I like to loop a bass guitar track with the BB drums and then just go exploring on my guitar. I have learned so much about improvising this way, and it helps a lot with improving my rhythm. Chords and rhythm playing are improving too. Such a great practice tool. It's a lot of money, but I saved up for a while and honestly, it was money well spent. Instead of "forcing" myself to practice, now I look forward to it.
Cool and obvious now that I’ve seen this. I’m an aspiring bluegrass flat picker, I might try to throw in these licks at a jam. Might be fun. Styles translate well to one another.
Hey Shane, hope you folks are warmer out there than here in Alberta, if there’s a plus it’s easier to stay inside and practice. I use the first two regularly, looking forward to adding the third. If anyone wants a fourth I also do the opening from Centerfield that you taught a little while ago. The one I really would love to get under my belt is Long Cool Women but so far it’s still fighting me🥴 Anyways, thanks again, stay warm my friend.
Hey Wally - we're enjoying some fairly warm Nov weather here in the nation's capital. I love the list of songs you mentioned. String them together and keep fighting to nail them. Glad to have you here lad. Shane
Shout out to you sir bought a second hand boss street cube 11 along with my Taylor 114 ce and going to do a few open Mike pub gigs before a bit of busking : ) did sing in a band years ago but playing and singing is new to me but you have helped me get some confidence to get and have a go . So Thank You 😊

Holy crap! I never knew you lived in my city until I visited your web site. Any idea if you'll offer lessons in the east end in the future? You're one of the best teachers out there. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Mark - that’s fabulous. I appreciate the encouragement. Focusing on online efforts at the moment but maybe at some point I’ll do individual lessons again. My best to you! Shane in YOW
