I easily understand after watching this video 2x . I am not calling anyone out but those who dislike your video are the ones who don’t understand. some people might never understand it and for those who don’t understand shouldn’t be flying helicopters for public safety. Great video man, this has helped me out a lot. The new blade 330s receiver channel is limited and I’m putting my helicopter in a scale body with retracts. 7 channel receiver is perfect 👌 and I have installed the AR7210 just by watching your video, thank you 🙏 a lot
Wasn't that...the problem was. You have to reset the AR7210BX....I tried everything...finally I figured it out...had nothing to do with the radio...but thank you for replying to my question. That's good service...keep up the good work
Hey thank you so much. I just tore down my heli for a rebuild with upgrades and I had never changed anything on the BeastX. This was a big help to get it running properly again!
FYI for those with an AR7210BX that came on your Blade heli: It has some menus locked so you cannot transfer it to a different heli. This is done intentially by Blade. This information was confirmed by the company. You may be able to purchase an unlock key of some sort if you want it fully unlocked.
Fantastic vid. mate! Minute point, the speed of the servos are measured in "micro seconds" and that is the symbol for micro, which is similar to a "u" but has a long tail on the left hand side!!
Did I say "US" in this video? If I did I apologize. It is definitely micro seconds (µs) which is alt+230 to type the symbol. In the older videos, which this one is, I always said US just to simplify things. But now days, I say "Micro Seconds" and explain the symbol. Just one of the fun quirks of the hobby. Thanks so much for the comment! www.Rc-Help.com
Awesome video Tony. Thanks for taking the time to explain the Beast. I have been looking at different Gyros and this video just just made up my mind for me! At first when I was reading about the AR7210BX it was very daunting to me, but after watching your video it helped me to understand a great deal more about this particular unit. Once again, thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise in this Hobby
The ARxxxxbx gyros are awesome. The only gyro I will put above them is the Ikon and that is because everything is done on the computer which I find easier. But if you don't like working on computers to set things up (and many don't), these are fantastic! I'm glad that I could help out. www.Rc-Help.com
I'm just a beginner flyer i cras my 450 heli using same gyro and Remote dx9 spectrum I gonna build again and want to back in the air watching from Canada
Hi Tony, awesome series of Ar7200bx videos! I have a question about a Blade 450x which is flying great as stock but now I have upgraded to be a scale MD500E with a 5 bladed head. Do you think that I need to reprogram the Ar7200bx to compensate for the new head? I already did a mechanical phasing correction, but seems like there's a good amount of Torque and the heli is not compensating correctly. I increased the tail blade size to no avail. Any ideas are welcome! Kudos to you for sharing your knowledge!
Hey Rayan, increasing the number of main blades on the head will definitely cause more torque to be put through to the tail causing tail blowouts since the tail can not handle the increase in torque. The best thing you can do is get a 3 or even 4 blade tail to put on it. The increase in the number of tail blades can help with that head torque. Of course larger tail blades also helps. I would go into the gyro and set it up again since it is likely your cyclic and collective pitch ranges have changed with the new head. www.Rc-Help.com
You want get the blue light in the limit menu.ive tried the servo. The balls on the servo arms jam into the servos.on the 470l and 450l it's the way the servo design in the frame .450 proud made different.
I got a dx7s and the heli gyro is already setup but isk what settings to use for the radio im a noob always used rtf heli xk110 and v950 and my drone only uses default settings no mixing etc because the flight computer does it all
Hello Tony. Nice video, thank you. I'm new in all this RC things:-) I've got my TREX 650. Just two problems that I can't find the answer: servo goes well, but return back slowely. And secong - tail servo don't return back automaticly. Just tell me please how to solv that problem. Thank you!
Hey Anar, the cyclic servos will always return slowly on a flybarless helicopter. This is because you told it to move the helicopter and it is giving the helicopter time to move in space, but sitting on the bench, it can't. And the cyclic is set in rate mode so it will always return, but again, slowly. Speaking of Rate mode (kind of), your tail servo is not returning to center because you are flying in HH or Heading Hold mode. Thank of space as a 2D 360º map. If you are facing at 0º and you give a rudder input, you are telling that gyro to take the helicopter from 0º in space to lets say 90º in space. Since you are in Heading Hold, it will apply and hold pitch on the blades until the helicopter gets to the "heading" of 90º. What I do is I set one of the switch positions to rate mode and just before I start flying, I flip into Rate then back into HH and this will center the blades before you take off. Rate mode will only stop tail movement if an outside force has been applied such as a gust of wind. The tail blades will always center back up. Hope this helps. www.Rc-Help.com
I have a Trex 500 with a Flybarless head on it and a AR7300 BX receiver on it. At 50 in and 50 out I have 0 degrees on the blades. And 12 degrees at positive and 12 degrees negative pitch and 6 degrees side click and about 8 degrees on the other blade and all the servos are at 90 degrees. How do I get them both side clicks the same. I'm not getting any lift at all on the helicopter. I don`t know what to do. At half stick the helicopter is not lifting at all.
hi ,i got a bind n fly 270 cfx with the 7210 on it and there is way more travel on the rudder stick so it will bind should i enter the giri bearing in mind its bind and fly or leave it or can i just set travel limit on dx8
I set up my AR7300BX no my align 500 and every thing is working like it should .But my tail is not going all the way left and right. With my DX8 radio. I changed the servo and it is still the same. Is there a setting in the radio to give me more movement .The servo is a align DS520 and it is not moving all the way. I did my end points on the setup but it is still the same.
I need help loading my Dx8 Receiver up. I`m new at this hobby and don`t know how to set it up .I have a dx6i now .I`m a little confused on setting it up on the dx8..Do you have a video on setting it up to my trex 500.
My throttle is not working from the get go. Needed to reverse pitch and throttle? Get no reaction from the motor. Reset unit nothing works, initialises fine with tones on the motor. But that's it, next no throttle
I have a problem I got a trex450 and setup my end point on my tail servo and put my transmitter to 150% on my rudders on transmitter but it only moves like 30% causing the heli to spin like crazy helo
Come over to the site and post up a short video of what it is doing. You may have a gain setting wrong, or your gyro may be reversed on the correction direction. www.Rc-Help.com
I need help with the tail endpoints. It wont seem to save where I set the endpoints at. When I exit the setup menu it just goes back to the default endpoint setting( which is very little)
Hello my friend, what,s the deal with the slow swash movement after im done. During setup the swash is fast in every direction. Could you help me out. The rest went perfect🙂🇳🇱
If you are referring to moving the swash with the stick, letting go of the stick, and it returning to center really slow, then that is completely normal. You gave that gyro an input, and it is trying to hold that input as long as it can to try to put the helicopter into the position that you told it to go in. But, because the cyclic is basically in rate mode, it must return to center after a bit, it just has reduced speed in doing so. Hope this makes sense.
@@RcHelpDotCom Well it flies great, i just took in outside for the maiden. Very stable trex 500. My question only is, why is my tail kicking to the right with extra throttle. I know the heli wants to turn left from the torque, do i set the tail in parameters for counter action with the tail? Or can i leave that off and do something else. Pitch-throttle curve, its always something with me and the tail, everything else works great.

Yes, but you will lose some functionality such as different flight modes and such.
