    Great video! I got to menu item k and seen 1 of my servos was not correct,went back to g and again went to k and all is good. Very well explained. I was unsure how difficult this would be to set up but with your videos life is easier! Thanks Freddy!

    Hi Freddy, many thanks for your videos, they are simply superb!!!!
    I am setting up a V5.0 on a Spektrum AR8010T. The MB manual V5.0 calls for playing with the servos end points via 'travel adjust' on the TX to obtain solid lights on the Status Light of the MB for the Setup Menus K and M (of V5.0), these two correspond to 'Collective Pitch' and 'Cyclic Directions' respectively, so you end up playing with Aileron, elevator and Pitch channels end points on the TX to get the solid lights they suggest. My question is if you think that by increasing the travel adjust and having them at different values, i.e. Pitch at 104 while Aileron is at 102, could result on the swash plate not being leveled at its higher and lower positions? This question is related to what you explained on 12:45. Thanks man.

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  4 года назад +1

      Yes I would say always try (if possible to keep everything even) based on different models and geometry setups it is not always perfect however the system is designed to compensate for some of the small out of adjustment issues.

    Thanks for the video , pretty much all what you showed on the video I have done correctly that means my 90 degrees servo arms swash level orientation 6 degrees on blue 13 degrees up , down
    Bad news I have make a mistake somewhere on the tail gain or something , I when to the field today and I took off the heli when up and started to spin I gas able to keep it for a few seconds but started to gain speed as spin around I slowly putting down ..but as you know by the time touchdown the gravity took over and the heli tilts and crash broke the skid one blade got some damage and now don’t know what to do
    Sucks .. but that is just how it goes sometimes at least so far I got gaining experience building it and get my hand wet trying to program it
    Can you please help me

    I am on menu K and the swash is dead on level at mid stick, but when I push the swash up to the top end and check it again, my aileron servos are both maybe a mm lower than the elevator servo. I went back and did menu G again as you said, and everything is dead on level, but then back in menu K it is off a mm again. ???

I had 2 Dx6 that only went in for service updates on 2 years. But this new one has a push button on off. You long press about 5 seconds to shut off only it wouldn't shut off. I pulled a battery. Then when I was ready to go from a jet to my Blade the power button Broke off and went inside the radio. With this virus'they say it's take 2-4 weeks for Horizon to even get it. Hey buddy I am happy to help. So do you mean when the Heli spools up on the ground the tail kicks a little? How does it behave once its in the air and in your different RPM / flight modes?

  • @MrGlenCarter
    @MrGlenCarter 3 года назад +1

    Hi Freddy. Just wondering exactly why in menu 'N' the swashplate will tilt to give more positive pitch in the same direction, no matter where the helicopter is in its rotation. Could it be because pirouettes downgrade the angle of attack of rotor disk, requiring a little pump up by the swashplate to keep the bird from losing its level attitude while pirouetting?

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  3 года назад

      I would say its more or less to teach the system when and where to make its gain adjustments. The piro rotations of the rudder not only start to throw off the CG of the Heli but also acts like a weight going around in circles, causing drift and or pull. So in my best observation of this menu I would say its just the way they designed the software to counter it....

    Ok, so I set in menu G my servos and with the swash leveling tool all are equal. And at 90 at center stick. When I got into menu K my cyclic is off ever so slightly... Do I need to adjust anything or will it be ok? It's very minute amount of gap but I want it to be 100%!! Should I adjust anything or get thru the rest of the setup and see where I'm at when I put my head back on and check my travel?? I just know that when I had the head on before that I was getting much more neg pitch than pos pitch. I don't know how to change that.

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  4 года назад

      When you look from the servo up, as long as your servos are centered, swash is level you can move forward. Also if you finish the next few videos it may help and answer some of your questions. Please let me know.

    • @33forsaken
      @33forsaken  4 года назад

      Each menu will limit the servos for certain reasons based upon the programming need. I always say, do not focus on all the other things just make sure each menu is completed as needed and move on. Once you fly you will see any negative side effective and be able to make your adjustments as needed.

    Hello Freddy. I have a problem. I have Trex 500 with Microbeast plus (version 5.7). Problem is when I tilt the heli to check how MBeast Plus compensates the tilts, servos bearly move in any direction. But when I move TX sticks around servos work fine moving full throw. I remember that earlier, during MBeast gyro compensation, servos moved more "alive" and further distance, in short, they were more active. I tried to factory reset and re do setup but it didnt help. Is it a problem with MBeast or servos (chinese ones JX PDI-HV2546MG - cheaper ones)?
