Being a remote beta test for PP, I can tell they are VERY OPEN when/if you find a problem (as seldom as that is)!
New Rippletraining Motion tutorial? Instant buy.
What a great ripple effect with the logo. I love the clean look and colors.
Wonderful. Thanks for this. I have no use for this yet but as I advance in my editing I am sure I will. Very, good value.
Outstanding walkthrough! And you keep in to the point, structured, and also in a good length.
You've got yourself a new subscriber. ;)
Could you please make a full tutorial on how to work with Pixelmator pro?
Great review of the capabilities.
As a solo video creator who uses FCP, Motion (rarely) and Pixelmator Pro, I am maxed out. I don't do enough in Motion, or with animation, to invest in the learning right now.
I need to bring in freelance help when I need it. But I want to find people who work with Pixelmator Pro and Motion, so that when they send the finished files to me, I have the option to update and tweak it later if I need to.
Question: What marketplace is best to find capable freelancers who work with these specific tools?
Thanks for this awesome tutorial
Thanks for the info. I bought Pixelmator Pro at once. I just exported my last vector maps to Motion and did an animation with them, in a few minutes. uf!!
Great info thanks!
How we convert it back into an SVG, so it can be added to a webpage?
Within a shape like a circle. Can you punch a hole leaving what hole transparent ?
I know the integration with Pixelmator and Motion are unrivaled but any plans to do a tutorial on preparing images in Pixelmator for use in Blackmagic Design Fusion or maybe even Unreal Engine? (Especially the new motion graphics toolset in UE 5.4 look promising)
This is _really_ cool stuff!
very cool!
Can you tell us how to CHECK an SVG file in Pixelmator Pro and also how to create SVG files in PP
Hi , can I convert any pictures to vectors in pixelmator pro with click ? Like adobe ia
AWESOME MARK. Can you make the shapes 3D as well or do they have to be text or font items for that??
Have to be a font or .usdz.
@@markspencer3104 thank you
You talk/teach well.
A like just for finding out I can add illustrator files to motion
Cheers. I created a vector file online for free
The online services sometimes really mess up the vectors. Try the free Vectornator app.
Ripple Training,
Instead of using Adobe Illustrator I use Affinity Designer… not Vectornator or Pixelmator Pro. And although I do have Vectornator or Pixelmator Pro on my Mac, again, I don’t use them-save using Pixelmator Pro to turn text into a Motion file.
So here is what many who have transitioned from AI to Affinity Designer need to do:
Affinity Designer (native vector file with layers) to Pixelmator Pro to a Motion shape… and not for $59.00.
Note: Although you demonstrated adjusting an AI file’s ‘Fixed Resolution, you neglected mentioning the *.svg files from Vectornator or Pixelmator Pro will not appear in Motion’s Media window and, thus, remain pixelated!

I am also a fan of Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo,

Thanks for the reply.
FYI, here is another issue which has been neglected:
Ripple Training, in the PIXELMATOR PRO AND MOTION video, demonstrates working with text. What’s neglect is it actually does not work as worded. How to know this? Simply attempt using the same outline trick with ‘all’ characters in the word ‘vimeo.’ E.g., use the character ‘o.’ I.e., while you can, in fact, animate the outer part of the ‘o,’ you cannot animate the inner circle. Why? Because of the mask created during Export from Pixelmator Pro, it’s not really an ‘o.’
This is why, and I suspect this was understood, a character without a mask was chosen.
So here’s what might happen: Someone is gonna take text into Motion and imagine they will animate ‘all’ the outlines on the letters of a word… but they can’t. Now what?
