Told my wife while watching one of these videos, "They make all this look so easy." :) Thankful for the Ripple knowledge and their tutorials. Our media man at church died with cancer, and he was the only one working on our weekly tv broadcast (local channel that airs our Sunday service). I have taken on the role though I know nothing about video. I am halfway decent with tech you could say (worked at an Apple store for a while) but video is all new to me. I found ripple training through the recommendation on the Apple website. When I worked at the store, we had the One to One training with a Creative. I was looking for that and realized that they discontinued the service. Ripple was one of the ones they recommended, and the church bought me the Ripple Final Cut tutorial package. Have done about 9 lessons so far. Thank you for your teaching. if anyone watches the free videos, I can recommend that the paid tutorials are worth it.
TNice tutorials was honestly so helpful. I’ve been working around soft, whether it be church, singing in a band, or theatre for most of my life so tNice tutorials
Thanks so much guys! Always love the extra quick tips, perfect for when you just need to work on some layered files directly in FCPX. LOVE Pixelmator Pro when using it with Motion as well, an amazingly versatile App!
Lovely tutorial that went straight into my heart but went over my head😀. Actually I have bought Pixelmator Pro very recently and wanted to know how to add outline to a text like as we do in FCPX. Is it possible at all?
having the text moved is really serious shit when you meticulously craft your layouts and compositions. Does anyone know if this has been fixed via an update yet?
Seems faster to do the behaviors in motion. I realize people wanted FCP only workflow, but I think the people that asked for that don’t realize how fast and easy motion is.
I hear from people all the time - you are correct, but that does not mean they will use it, regardless of how many videos Mark and I create to make it look easy.
Agreed, but if I can get simple animations like this done all within FCP, I'll pick that every time over round-tripping. Call it "steam-lined workflow" or more accurately, "easy life" LOL.
@@rippleguys I think this video is great btw - and it is interesting to see how to make it work in FCP. I just had to be “that guy” who mumbled about Motion. LOL
Just bought PmP3.2 and it promises even more fun because it can now edit, colorcorrect (via luts export) videos inside PmP.. any change you guys would do a video on that working together with Motion and FCP?
I'm having an odd issue with this where the layers stop showing as a layered image in the TIMELINE, but still show in the browser. I suspect it's related to adding a generator in between layers, but I haven't confirmed this yet.

Another brilliant lesson from Steve at Ripple, not just in Pixelmator, but also clarified how to use mBehaviors for me as well.
The possibilities for these Apps together … so fabulous - thanks Steve!!!

Excellent video Steve. Really helpful. Just bought Pixelmator Pro, so mBehaviours is next.

Very helpful :) Thanks for sharing this. Also the M Behavior plugin is exactly what I've been looking for!
That was awesome. A great way to use both programs together.

It's pixelmator pro, of course it hasn't been fixed lmao
@@TardyMoments hahah
We love the TITLES have a check box so only affects the clip Below or everything under...!!
Interesting that Pixelmator Pro is adding video editing to the software.

We already did one: www.rippletraining.com/products/motion/pixelmator-pro-for-motion/
LOL at the keyframes comment.
Very cool!
Thank you, and dreaming of that day when we will be able to drag a .pxd into FCP!

Just select it in the timeline and choose > Open Clip from the Clip menu and you'll see your layers

Thanks! Didn't know this was possible...I do use mBehaviors, but I normally edit with Affinity Photo. Still getting my feet wet with Motion.
