You’re not far off. Keynote is a very powerful tool and in fact, I use Keynote for motion design myself! If you want to see, all the videos on my channel are designed in vectonator and animated in Keynote.
just seeing this video and was actually looking for an alternative to photoshop. so i will definitively get it its 50 bucks now but its way better then a monthly subscription.
Haha... I need to try this compared to the fusion page in Davinci. Looks like a much faster and easy way to make different animations that takes for ever to do in fusion. Thank you so much. Really appreciate this. Cheers from Norway 🇳🇴
Correct! So could Pixelmator. The new "Export to Motion" feature makes it so you can bring those compound shapes to Motion without exporting to a PDF like before.
How can I do if after exporting the project for Motion and starting to make some animation you want to change the shape in Pixelmator? Is it possible to rewrite the variation made in Pixelmator and not lose the work done in Motion? Thanks
Unfortunately After Effects is the painful to use, but has more features than any other tool, option right now. With that said Dylan Bates just launched a Motion Masterclass that might be worth checking out if you're committed to the Final Cut Pro ecosystem.
@@JosephSlinker What’s the point of more feature in after effect if you can’t render it? I recently spent about two hours creating a short in after effects using the particle world system just to find out after effect, premiere pro, and media encoder could not render my hard work.

Right to the point with no fluff. Excellent tutorial.
That’s what I try for every time! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Very helpful integration into motion
Pixelmator is an amazing tool. You can actually do everything you just did in this tutorial in half the time using Keynote.
I think you are right. Garry from macmost is showing it ruclips.net/video/r7k25bPpBtU/видео.html
How do you add keynote animations into movie editing apps, like iMovie? Can you just add a keynote file to the timeline?
Really ??? Are you exaggerating?

Nice tutorial. I don't use either program, but it's good to see an alternative to AE / PS.
Looking forward to more tutorials on Motion. I really want to master it! I don't want After effects anymore ! Motion is awesome !

Thanks. Great tutorial. Would like to see more Motion 5 + Pixelmator content.
I’ve got at least 2 more videos focused on using Pixelmator for RUclips videos so make sure to stick around!
i really appreciate your effort
Great job, very informative video. I love Pixelmator but have yet to think about using it with Motion. Thank you for the video!
Thank you very much! Amazing!
Been adobe user for years and now im exploring motion and final cut. Nice video and subbed!
Awesome! I'm excited to have you onboard!

great tutorial thank you!
Great video Joseph. Great reason to switch from PS to Pixelmator
Really nice tutorial! Been looking for more of this since Pixelmator Pro is a powerful tool to use
New sub! Super tutorial on something I’ve never heard of until today. Thank you!
Thanks! Happy to have you on board!
The video way useful to me thnx for creating such a wonderful tutorials
I’m so glad it helped!
Really Nice Tutorial, and very helpful, thanks so much
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Please, more pixelmator pro video. Subbed.
Very good! interested in making RUclips Graphics
Awesome! I’m trying to learn how to use motion and I think this is really helpful. Please upload more videos like these. :)
Sure thing!
Awesome content, continue Apple Motion tutorials
Definitely! I've got something really big in the work....
Dope ☑️ that was very useful; just purchased the app - thanks man and keep up the good work 😎
Thanks
Has Apple Motion improved since? Do you still need Pixelmator pro for the advantages of Motion you cited? Thanks so much for the great video!
It’s somewhat better, but there’s still big gaps. For an example you can check out my recent video about Pixelmator and vector graphics.
Thank you!@@JosephSlinker
Motion has this text centering now. :)
great video. subscribed
Pixelmator, the unsung hero
It really is.
SUPER✨👏👏✨thank you
I’m glad you liked it!
Is it allowed to use Apple's San Fransisco fonts for commercial use? Like in your RUclips videos for example?
I think it depends on the content you’re specifically using it for. You’ll have to check their ToS for your use case.
I was actually curious about pixel Mater pro. Kind of thinking about getting it or not. Thanks a lot.
I'm glad I could help! I've got a couple more videos coming showing all the different ways I use Pixelmator in my workflow.
pixelmator has motion now??
* subbed immediately
🙌 Thank you!
illustrator could make a compound object or grouped object years ago.
Correct! So could Pixelmator. The new "Export to Motion" feature makes it so you can bring those compound shapes to Motion without exporting to a PDF like before.
Hi buddy - would the 14 inch m1 pro base model be good with pixelmator and apple motion? I wasn't sure if it would suffice or whether I needed m1 max
Honestly a lot of the work I was doing this year was on an old Intel Mac, so any of the Apple Silicon makes should be good enough.
where is the apple map motion tutorial?
How can I do if after exporting the project for Motion and starting to make some animation you want to change the shape in Pixelmator? Is it possible to rewrite the variation made in Pixelmator and not lose the work done in Motion? Thanks
Unfortunately not. Pixelmator writes, but doesn’t read the Motion file format.
I’m trying to find some modern apps that improve on the workflow from photoshop and after effects, but I’m just not seeing that here.
Unfortunately After Effects is the painful to use, but has more features than any other tool, option right now. With that said Dylan Bates just launched a Motion Masterclass that might be worth checking out if you're committed to the Final Cut Pro ecosystem.

@GemTappX Adobes software quality really seems to have gone downhill lately.
@@JosephSlinker You’re right. Even photoshop is glitching as he11. I think you used the perfect word to describe it, painful.
Thanks. This is great!
good tutorial, but you can do it in After Effects in just one app
But Motion is way faster, more efficient and easier to work with.
You can make the whole thing in Motion !! didn't get what you meant you can't in Motion !!!
2 million subs lol you ARE creative
sorry I couldn't resist bruv
Shoot for the stars and land on the moon. Amirite?
In this video it's clearly visible that the price is $19.99 but if I go the page it's showing more than $39
The price changes pretty regularly. It looks like $39 is the normal price and they just discount it to $19 on a regular basis.
I’m not able to yet, but I’m so looking forward to the day I can kiss Adobe and their bloody subscriptions goodbye.
It gets easier with time! I'm almost completely out of things that Photoshop can do that Pixelmator can't.
中国卖的不是20美元,😭,我们穷,还卖的贵
