Ubuntu looks a really good distro for beginners, the accessibility features at the beginning of the installation was a really good idea... Ubuntu is really good, I can't use it because I think that it is too much bloated, but the UI and features of it are really awesome!
Ubuntu is looking good! appreciate your concise videos as always. Would never personally use Ubuntu, but commend them for making an effort to polish their distro & attract new users, every person brought over from Windows or Mac is a win for open source. Most in my Linux circle of friends started with Ubuntu, It's a proper gateway distro for sure.
When Sir Mark Shuttleworth decided to send out FREE Ubuntu Linux CD's around the globe, even I requested and received one, around twenty years ago. And that's how Linux became known to the public. If it weren't for Ubuntu, Linux wouldn't have existed today in the way it does, so why the global hate? And it is no "beginner distro" but a rather sophisticated set of corporate and professional IT solutions, of which Ubuntu desktop is just a small component. Ubuntu excels in IoT and AI, in the server world, etc.
I do highly disagree with the Ubuntu hate and the people saying it’s not a beginner distro or not a good distro, but the wonderful thing about open-source is if you don’t like something, you can always try something else :)
I would totally recommend ubuntu 24 to newbies in linux.

Yup, Ubuntu is definitely a great beginner distro but also very important to the growth and development of Linux!
If it weren't for Ubuntu, you likely wouldn't have had any Linux today.

Pronounce Ubuntu ruclips.net/video/yHF6RtjZyo8/видео.htmlsi=ojuZUFTQ8e2YGkno
I know people say [oo-boon-too] is the proper pronunciation but I personally prefer [oo-buhn-too] and I’ll stick to that
Pronounced ooh booon tooh. Don't mispronounce indigenous words as you are doing it in a most offensive way. Please.
I will pronounce it how I want, that should not be “offensive” lol
