Any RPM stutter at park? Any tune done? I did a gawtney ported L86 manifold and 92mm ported LT5 TB swap for my 2019 L83 yukon and with a 4" intake tube. Been getting lean codes and had to do a tune. The tuner set my AFR a bit higher to save more gas. Now I've been getting 18 high way 13 local.

    • @DemonWorks

No stutter in park, just the typical misfire feeling they all have. No codes from mine, but I bet yours was because the larger LT5 TB and the 4" intake tube? Sounds like a nice set up !

So i just did the swap on my 22 Silverado 5.3L and im having trouble with it truck starts and idles at 1000rpm and runs rough gives me engine codes that wont clear and the tps wouldn't relearn i had a look at the throttle body position sensor and noticed my stock sensor was a 6 pin connector and the 6.2 was a 5 pin so i swapped them and got the tps to relearn but still have the 1000rpm idle and codes that wont clear i also reused the 5.3L map and maf sensors do you think changing them to the 6.2L map and maf sensors would fix my issue

I think you have a big air leak somewhere. Rolled gasket or a line not fully connected. Maybe even the duct to the throttle body not seated?

    • @ShannonTurner-z1p

you have to adjust the tune file and increase the airflow area mass to 4118. the l83 is obviously less area 3690. plus you have to relearn the throttle body

  • @nmotion.anautomotivechanne3729

Better air flow. But waste of money just get a cold air ... more air in does bothing unless the cubic inches is in the combustion chambers to burn the added fuel air mix low end tourqe will he felt but then as u accelerate hard it on almost bog and loose the power curve ... put a stage 1 or 2 cam then add the 6 2 intake cause ur pulling more air from the valves then u need more fuel !
