Fill, I just want you to know that you inspired me. I have elderly neighbors that hadn't had their lawn mowed yet, and the grass was 5 feet tall in places. I checked on them, and it turned out that the person who had been mowing for them never showed up this season. I initially thought I could mow for them, but it turned out to be too much for me (I'm a senior citizen and can just manage my own lawn). I found a young man just starting out his business who could take on the job. Thanks to him, years of poor mowing (a couple of feet of packed down dry grass) have been corrected, saving this nice couple from a city citation and maybe even saving their lives, as it gets very dry here all summer and all that tinder could easily ignite from a cigarette carelessly discarded. Thanks for your inspiration.

The fact that you pick up the clipping just made me subscribe; I really like lawn videos as a means of relaxing but it grinds my gears when they blow their sh*t all over the freshly cut lawn. It's pretty much normal where I live (Europe), but in the U.S., not many do it.
I'm almost 50 years old, & that is the healthiest lawn that I've ever seen! Why did'nt the owners mow it after it grew? It is soft enough for the whole family to lay down on & star gaze in comfort!

@@fillslawncare I agree it does look nicer bagged, when I studied horticulture though, the reason for NOT bagging is that the fanned out cuttings ( not clumps) provide nutrients back to the earth while feeding the growing grass and giving moisture. Awesome job and work ethics!
I watch because I like the sounds of yard work. Hubby and I taught our two sons how to mow lawns, they had their own business from pre-teens to college. Sure hope you lock up your equipment trailer and truck when you are mowing in the backyards. God's blessings on your work.

My Grandpa had a big ol' Craftsman edger/trimmer that wasn't working so he had it out for trash pickup. I asked if I could have it (I was 9 at the time) early 60's, he said 'why?' 'it doesn't work!' I said I wanted to see if I could fix it. He said if your mom and dad say you can have it then ok. They said ok and after getting it home I took it apart, fixed some loose and a broken wire, oiled what I thought should be oiled and it worked again! We had it for the next 15 years. Of course I had an ulterior motive, it was my job to edge with the old push type edge with the toothed wheel and trim along the fence with the old hand clippers so fixing that beast up made my work a whole lot easier!!!! Love watching your vids, you pay attention to nice details and the results are the proof!
I love the way he cleans up. Bagging the clippings, always makes me smile, so few people do it and I need to connect with nature by walking barefooted on grass. This guy brings me joy!

This yard is a little unkempt, but it doesn't look really bad. You have done many yards that were many times worse! But, as usual, you made it look terrific!!! I know that they were very happy 😊!
You met and surpassed the challenge, Great Job, well done.... Some of the long strips of over grown sidewalk grass could be replanted elsewhere on this lawn or another for covering bald spots.. We do our own and looks not as nice as you've done..Thanks for posting, learned a few tricks with ti..
Thank you for actually using an edger. People who use a weedwacker to edge just aren’t getting crisp enough edges, a string will never complete with a blade.
