Love the foxglove. It was a favorite of mine when we lived in the Northwest. If it's not native it is at least wonderfully naturalized. It will return. Nice work, Fill. My favorite part is the edging, peeling back the overgrown edges.
That's smart of you to bring your own trash can and coal shovel. Oh and that Power Broom was your best purchase yet! 🌐🎯*(sometime bring a bucket of water and save some of those purple flowers for your parents or wife/GF. Consider that a bonus. It will put a smile on their face.)😁🥰
I couldn't tell if the purple flowers are the purple flowered plants that are invasive plants and New York State is trying to eliminate them because they just take over and eliminate other plants.

I'm always curious what kind of wild flowers you have to mow over to get the place cleaned up. Those purple flowers looked like foxglove and were very pretty. Good job as always. Some times you can only do so much but you always manage to make a silk purse from a sows' ear.
Hi teejay, I’ve actually seeing mixed seed packs of those natural woodland flowers you can sow in your own property if you have one, the butterflies and bees are soon attracted to them! Kind regards.
I want that super sweeper!!!!! Nice!!! The property looks incredible!!!! My father passed away last year. He left his property to me. The problem is his property is at the opposite side of the country from me. I can't take care of it the way I wish I could. So many homes like this...

What a blight to the neighborhood that property was! That was a lot of work a quite a challenge!!!! Such an enjoyable video from start to finish! What an amazing transformation!!
@@janetborst1895no, leaf mould is very nutrient rich. Also using it as a mulch keep the moisture in and the light out so is also vital for good soil health and beneficial creatures.
That is one magnificent old cherry tree. I wonder how old it is. The old barn on the property would make a great barn conversion if it could be rescued… just add a nice big porch/verandah across the front
What an amazing transformation from overgrown to mown. If you ever consider a career change, urban archeologists could learn from your skills discovering and redefining the stairway. Thanks for protecting your self by wearing gloves, eye protection and a breathing filter. You need not expose yourself to molds, fungus and other parasites that might be waiting dormant in dry leaves and tall grasses. Wishing you and your bride a blessed week filled with gentle rains, seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together. Peace brother
Hello New subscriber here ❤ My friend Deanna Young sent me She said I would like your channel And she was correct I do 🎉 You do such a great job 👍 Bless you 😊
Thank you for protecting your lungs by wearing that mask/respirator. I watch a lot of people who are doing good things like you do (cleaning up lots and yards that people have abandoned and/or can't take care of themselves and can't afford to hire someone to do it for them), and far too many of them don't mask up and are breathing in all that dust and particles and who knows what kinds of chemicals that may be on the ground? Yes, I believe there was a house or some kind of structure there at one time, otherwise it would be pointless to have steps and a sidewalk leading into the lot!
You made such a big difference on this empty lot. The neighbors are very happy. My favorite part is the cleaning up the curb with your brush equipment.
I liked how you cleaned up the gutter of the streett and the sidewalk area, but I have to admit I was a bit sad to see the wildflower meadow go. It was probably nice for bees etc. I'm a bit weird - I like things a little bit wild in Nature. Anyone know what the flowers were? I saw mauve/blue ones and a few pink ones.
Ironically it wasn’t any sort of wildflower meadow, it was just an abandoned and unloved suburban plot dragging down the security and values of all the nearby properties. (Fortunately there are millions of square miles of natural wildflower meadows all over the country so don’t worry yourself too much! )😁🖖
I agree 100%, I see Fill's lawncare and others everywhere, and the surrounding neighbors rarely even come out to say thank you! They will benefit from Fill's generosity! Really sad! Maybe they'll go and cut the branches, I noticed an old tree house ladder, kids play there.
Hopefully now the worst of it has been done it may help them to keep it looking good. As you say, if only so their properties don’t suffer value wise. I’d just be happy not looking at this mess every day.
Now that the whole place is done, the neighbors can take turns mowing the place during the spring, summer, and fall. I see five neighbors , and they do it in the growing season and take turns every other week.
You are so amazing to do this for all the neighbors on this street. What an amazing surprise for everyone when they pass your excellent work. You have opened up everyone’s perception of this property with your kind heart and unselfish gift to all. Thank you so much. First time on your channel. ⭐️🤗
Hi Fill Why did you choose Toro over other brands? I’m trying to narrow down before I buy. I have a gravely/ hustler dealer near me but I like to hear other opinions. Thanks!
There is a lot of badge engineering that goes on these days, most gardening equipment is Asian manufactured and then badged up to suit whichever country it’s going to..
Lots of beautiful purple wild flowers. I’m surprised you didn’t encounter a bee or wasp hive somewhere in there. Great makeover though. There definitely was a house there before. Those stone steps look really old.
Next time, could you consider at least to leave an patch of vegetation? You did an great job and it looks way better but that destroyed living space for insects. Just leave a rectangle of living space, nature will love that :)
Great job - I'm always surprised that the neighbors NEVER mow/trim - esp if someone in the neighborhood has a riding lawn mower - it keeps the critter level down big time to keep it shorter/safer for neighborhood kids, pets, etc.
That lot would make a nice neighborhood park. A good place for block parties, maybe even a wedding! I always love to watch you plow through the overgrown grass. I've cleaned an overgrowth with a push mower and I'm so glad I don't have to do it again.😅. And I'm always happy to see the power broom.
If houses could talk. I would love to hear the story behind this property. It seems to date back to very early days. I’m sorry if you already explained it as I just finished watching the video and was so moved that I had to comment. It’s an amazing transformation. The homes in the area seemed pristine and $$$. Thanks for sharing this one. I loved it💚
I have never seen anybody else use the power broom. Very very smart idea and I'm sure money well spent! I will have to admit at one point I thought maybe there might be a house back there, but you did say it was an empty lot. Nice job!
I love that new “broom “. At 83 I still mow and take care of my own yard. At times it’s a little bit stressful but overall it makes me feel good and thankful that God gives me the strength to continue working on my yard. You do wonderful work. May God bless you and your family!

I'd be scooping it up also great for a garden. Great job Fill I know the neighbors really appreciate the clean up. Very enjoyable video.
I think that what was in the gutter would not be called trespassing.
Full of weed seeds?
@@janetborst1895no, leaf mould is very nutrient rich. Also using it as a mulch keep the moisture in and the light out so is also vital for good soil health and beneficial creatures.
That is one magnificent old cherry tree. I wonder how old it is.
The old barn on the property would make a great barn conversion if it could be rescued… just add a nice big porch/verandah across the front
Good job as always cleaning up the neighborhood to make a safer environment for everyone. Thank you for the entertaining video 😊😊😊
That looks LEAGUES better! Wow!
As for the house, it doesn't take as long as you think for nature to reclaim something we've built.
Hello New subscriber here ❤
My friend Deanna Young sent me
She said I would like your channel
And she was correct I do 🎉
You do such a great job 👍
Bless you 😊
Thank you for protecting your lungs by wearing that mask/respirator.
And ears - excellent, you wear ear protection. Prevention is key. (Doing audiograms was part of my job in a shipyard. )
Great job! My favorite part was the leaf clean-up and curb/sidewalk edging. ❤
You made such a big difference on this empty lot. The neighbors are very happy. My favorite part is the cleaning up the curb with your brush equipment.
Awesome as usual! The Stihl trimmer is really impressive too! Oh, and I bet there was a house that got storm damaged or fire damaged in the past.
Thanks 👍
Great job and I know you have made the neighbors very happy. Great video and I'm in love with that power broom!
Thank you . Great work.
Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA. Good job
(Fortunately there are millions of square miles of natural wildflower meadows all over the country so don’t worry yourself too much! )😁🖖
That power broom does a super job!
I always wonder why the neighbors don’t chip in to help: a property in this condition affects their property value.
Completely agree. Just too busy watching daytime TV and eating chocolate I expect..
I agree 100%, I see Fill's lawncare and others everywhere, and the surrounding neighbors rarely even come out to say thank you! They will benefit from Fill's generosity! Really sad! Maybe they'll go and cut the branches, I noticed an old tree house ladder, kids play there.
Too lazy!
Awesome!!!!!! You made that look great!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
You need a grass slasher or power trimmer mower, That would be awesome. Something about those babies!
Great shoveling, but it’s sad seeing all those beautiful flowers get mowed down :(
Good job and God bless 🙏
You are so amazing to do this for all the neighbors on this street. What an amazing surprise for everyone when they pass your excellent work. You have opened up everyone’s perception of this property with your kind heart and unselfish gift to all. Thank you so much. First time on your channel. ⭐️🤗
Hi Fill
Why did you choose Toro over other brands? I’m trying to narrow down before I buy. I have a gravely/ hustler dealer near me but I like to hear other opinions. Thanks!
I have a Toro. It's pretty good. I think the Gravely is the way to go though. If I had it to do over I'd probably get one of those.
@@nathanscott7910 why would you prefer the gravely? Just curious as I like them both
@@stephenpaul9165 Gravley for me too, just a great tool , we used them since the 80s
My grandfather and father had Gravely. It was all great equipment when we had it 1960s-early 2000s).
There is a lot of badge engineering that goes on these days, most gardening equipment is Asian manufactured and then badged up to suit whichever country it’s going to..
My Favorite lawn guy. I love your work.
Привіт з України🇺🇦🇺🇦💙💛
Lots of beautiful purple wild flowers. I’m surprised you didn’t encounter a bee or wasp hive somewhere in there. Great makeover though. There definitely was a house there before. Those stone steps look really old.
Next time, could you consider at least to leave an patch of vegetation? You did an great job and it looks way better but that destroyed living space for insects. Just leave a rectangle of living space, nature will love that :)
Great job!
What a wonderful transformation. I’m sure the neighbors were your biggest cheerleaders. You make your family and your online family proud.
Great job - I'm always surprised that the neighbors NEVER mow/trim - esp if someone in the neighborhood has a riding lawn mower - it keeps the critter level down big time to keep it shorter/safer for neighborhood kids, pets, etc.
I fully agree! (I live in Berkshire U.K. and we all help each other to keep the neighbourhood spic and span).
I'm really impressed with the rotating brush attachment. Seen it in many of your videos. Awesome tool! Thank you for sharing the video!
Looks Great! Im sure the neighbors were greatful. I liked how you went over it a few times to get the stuff sticking up! 🎉
I loved it💚
Applaud the PPE. Love the transformation.
Another beautiful job. Always enjoy the power street sweeper. What a difference it makes. ✝️
I have never seen anybody else use the power broom. Very very smart idea and I'm sure money well spent! I will have to admit at one point I thought maybe there might be a house back there, but you did say it was an empty lot. Nice job!
Great job... again ! I love that rolling brush. How could you live without it before? 😄
I love that new “broom “. At 83 I still mow and take care of my own yard. At times it’s a little bit stressful but overall it makes me feel good and thankful that God gives me the strength to continue working on my yard. You do wonderful work. May God bless you and your family!
