- I decided to clean up this overgrown property after passing by it every time i'd run my friday lawn care route. While performing the work, the owner showed up and told me what his plans were with the property. He initially told me how he bought a big mistake. I'm not sure what he meant by that, but after buying the home, he told me that he lost a loved one and the home/property renovation instantly became the least of his priorities. I hope that he finds the support he needs to recover fully, and may God bless & strengthen him in his daily walk. Also, about the neighbor... I knocked on her door and she denied my service offer with a "NO!". And yes, people actually say no to free services...

That home does have a lot of potential. It's tough dealing with a loss, especially if the person was the motivation for improving this place. I think that loss of someone can really set a person back for a time. Thank you for taking some of the burden off of him so that he has a new starting place either to make this a home he can enjoy or to be able to sell to someone and move on if that is what he chooses. Prayers for him as he is dealing with his loss. Thank you for doing this! I am sure it is a great relief to him.

Not necessarily. I am quite good at maintaining my own yard. However a couple of months ago the internet company needed to bury the cable in our yard. It had been on a pole, but we have frequent high winds and having it up there made our internet flaky because it was whipping the cable back and forth. They also discovered two other issues. I actually did a few yard things for them, things that I would be 100% pissed if they changed/removed/didn't leave alone or didn't put back correctly. I realize it is thier job to put stuff back as they left it, but I was not home, so I had no way of reminding them, if they had not been given details.
When did he say the neighbor did not want help? I missed that.
It was a wonderful feeling to watch this transformation. Very nice job and the surrounding neighbors appreciated it😊😊

My take on the NO for Free Service is a problem we have in my area with scammers offering a free service and then demanding exorbitant payment in a threatening way. This happened to an elderly neighbor of mine. Sad but true. Bless you.
Fil, you can make a new business called “Fil’s Compost” with all of the grass clippings! Loving the new battery pack set up with the trimmer. When you lose a loved one, it can really take the wind out of your sails. Life moved on but finding the energy to move on is rough. So glad you could help out!

He didn't talk to her yet, just said he was going to offer her, his service, which I took as to be paid for the job. A number of the jobs he has put out, are his regular paid customers.

I've watched so many of these videos. It's mostly satisfactory to see, but that being said I would just like to point out that yours is the first one I've seen that is complete. I've probably seen realistically 30 or so of this type and you are the first one to finish a lawn with a good raking. Nicely done.

I swear Fill has the best equipment out of all the lawn care guys I've seen and knows how to use them. He is the definition of working smarter and more efficient and not harder.
I had the same thought. Now I’m looking over Google for that battery backpack. That string trimmer sounded as powerful as I’ve ever heard. With the connection from the backpack to the trimmer I’m betting there are many more attachments. That might be a wonderful tool to have. Looks to operate for quite some time with the dual batteries. They had to be 40 volts or more. Be great if someone knows who makes them.

You are the first you tuber who does gardens that I personally have seen collect the grass, awesome job! It amazes me how huge the gardens are in the US, I wonder how they managed before these amazing mowers were invented. Here in Scotland, my front garden is about 20 feet wide by 13 🏴

I find it extremely fascinating, how trusting you are to leave your tools and equipment out around your trailer all the time the way you do. In Tampa, the 3rd second you were in the backyard, your entire trailer and your catalytic converter would’ve been gone. I get so nervous watching what should be relaxing LOL but it never stops me from tuning back in!

I too have lost someone. Wish I knew of someone in Denver that cares as much for an older person as you guys do on you tube.
